I was Chosen By A Perverted Goddess To Help Save Her World

Chapter 89: Casualties Of War

Not much is known of Luna’s true personality among servants.

Though, newer servants are warned beforehand by older once to always be careful not to make around this person.

Most knew of Luna’s true identity, but after a certain servant had mysteriously disappeared because they had addressed her too formerly, the younger servants began to understand why they were given such a warning.

Luna does not talk much, and spends most of her time outside the estate on regular literal manhunts.

When curious servants familiar with some members of the hunter squad had tried to pry information about her general disposition....

They all received well meaning advice to stop being curious about anything that had to do with this person.

In fact, tere was only one person in the entire estate who treated Luna like a regular person....

And that was the hunt squad’s commander herself.

This wasn’t that surprising to the older servants who knew what type of relationship they really shared before everything changed.

Just like the suqd commander, most servants who valued their safety had thought it wise to avoid this mysterious young lady.

If the warnings from their seniors or the disappearance of sole unfortunate servants weren’t enough to enforce this fear....

Then it would help to look at the damaged states of those captured on her usual returns from missions.

Now, this person whose known to never involve herself in the affairs of the estate because she never cared, whose passion was solely hunting down unfortunate men.....

Had, all of a sudden decided to lead the way on a rescue of an estate’s staff, and at the behest of mere servants.

These thoughts played through the twin’s minds as the trudged hesitantly behind her, staring at her back, regal and intimidating posture, her sexy combat gear with twin daggers on both sides of her hips, as well as her boots.

Luna wasn’t just known for how scary she was, they was also known for having a beauty that flawed all others without her even trying.

As a child of high noble status by birth, Luna effortlessly carried herself with that familiar regality befitting her status.

They moved on through the corridors and soon closed in on the one leading to the large doors of the bath room.

A soft smile played on Luna’s face, but instead of calming the nerves of the twins, it made them tense even more.

As they reached the passageway though, looking directly through to the right was the large door of the bathroom, and the door was wide open, as expected.

However, the twins’s eyes started to burn painfully, becoming watery, and their skin began to itch as they moved closer.

"What... what is this ?" they murmured synchronously in surprise.

The closer they got to the open door, the more terrible the sensation became; now both the twins’ eyes were reddened with tears and burning up, same as their skin, but they still wanted to proceed inside, as they feared for what might have happened to their master.

"Hmm... "

"Not here."

Suddenly, they heard the calm, indifferent voice of Luna, who was literally stepping out from inside the room and looking completely fine, while they, who were standing so far away, felt an unbearable burning and pain.

Not even sparing the twins a glance in their pitiful state, Luna turned and began heading in a different direction, one which the twins were most familiar with, so they hurriedly followed behind, their fear for what might have happened to their master overshadowing the pain the pervading irritatibg burns in the passage way.

Somewhere else on the upper floor of the south wing estate(Servant’s accommodations).

Inside a fancifully decorated large room, a collection of seven men lay sprawled out on the ground in several undignified positions, their tops discarded on most parts of the room, skin concerningly reddened and faces deformed into swollen redness and tears.

They were all wet as they continued to sprinkle water in each other’s faces and bodies, groaning in pain and anguish with scattered jugs of water and pouches, as well as a few special vials that had been emptied of their contents.

Repeated painful groans filled the space as they twirled around like a display of ripened, reddened tomatoes.

Most had regained partial vision, while others could barely tell their heads from their tails.

These were the seven members of the coalition of noble servants, with the exception of Gildhart and Kylian.

Most, groaning in pain, were all regretting their lives at this moment. Even when their dicks were cut out, it was done in a most painless way.

What they had just gone through at the hands of this seemingly ordinary demon was one of the worst experiences of their noble lives.

Luckily, following the lead of Gildhart and two others close in strength who recovered their sight a bit quicker, they were all able to be led out of that dreaded place and followed their leader along to get resources that would put an end to their suffering.

Fortunately, the more time passed, the less the pain, and Gildhart also threw them a few vials of precious healing potions before disappearing into the back room with Kylian.

Though none present was coming out to say anything, inside their minds they were all cursing at their leader for bringing them such suffering.

If any of them had known this person had such special means, they never would have attempted to jump him.

Though in hindsight, they all knew this person was said to be a mahji, a fact which they all conveniently ignored because of their pride, or because of what they knew about healing mahji’s having no offensive capability.

Most importantly, Gildhart had assured them all that this person was only a powerless mortal whom they had to cut his wings before he gets too favored by the mistress; they believed him, and now they were paying the price for that.

As they groaned in pain, questioning their life’s choices, Gildhart and Kylian walked back into the room, their swollen face and skin looking far better than the rest of them, and though their eyes still appeared very red, they looked much better.

They had clearly gone and used the very best of potions, leaving just the scraps for them, they all thought.

This caused a new wave anger and discontent to bloom amongst them.

Kylian walked to the small table in the center and placed a familiar metallic object on it.

The appearance of the object caused all the servants to jump back in fright, before Kylian went backvand stood beside were Gildhart was now seated.

All those present instantly recognized this object....

Before them was the terrifying architect of their anguish....The tear gas canister.
