Chapter 478: The Shock of Quitela and Kuru
"Don't say anything. I can't see through him!!"
Quitela's voice reached Kuru's ears, and Kuru's heart immediately surged with a tidal wave of disbelief.
Quitela was the God of Destruction second only to Beerus. Yet even he couldn't see through the person standing before them.
This was insane!
"Kuru, carefully sense his dimension!"
"His dimension?"
Kuru froze for a moment before immediately focusing his senses on Gran.
A moment later.
"This... How is this possible?"
Kuru pointed at Gran, trembling as he spoke.
"His dimension has actually reached the peak of the Divine Realm!!"
When it came to dimensions, as long as someone's dimension did not exceed another person's by an entire major realm, their dimensional level could still be sensed.
For example, if both parties were within the Divine Realm, then even if one of them had reached the peak of that realm, Kuru and Quitela would still be able to sense it—as long as that person had not stepped into the Angel Realm.
Of course, once someone reached the Angel Realm, they would no longer be able to sense their dimension.
"Who exactly are you?"
Quitela became cautious.
"I have a few questions for you."
Gran completely ignored his question.
A cold glint flashed through Quitela's eyes.
"What are you? You think that just because you want to ask me something, I'm going to..."
As a God of Destruction, Quitela was naturally arrogant. If anyone else dared to speak to him like this, he would have destroyed them long ago.
But the person standing before him was far too mysterious.
He didn't want to act recklessly.
However...
Before Quitela could finish speaking, Gran suddenly appeared directly in front of him.
Their eyes met.
"You'd better listen when I speak."
Although this Quitela was not the Quitela from Gran's own timeline, Gran still instinctively disliked him.
Under Gran's icy gaze, Quitela was so startled that he involuntarily took two steps backward.
But the moment he realized what he had done, his cheeks burned.
He was a dignified God of Destruction, yet there had actually been a day when he was frightened by some youngster!
What an utter humiliation!
The Supreme Kai Kuru was also caught off guard when Quitela stepped backward and accidentally bumped into him, hitting Kuru squarely on the nose.
Seeing Quitela's reaction, Kuru was equally stunned.
"Lord Quitela, you..."
Quitela ignored the man behind him. His anger was already blazing.
"You brat, you're looking for..."
But the word "death" never left his mouth.
Gran seemed to disregard both time and space itself.
He instantly appeared before Quitela again and grabbed him by the throat.
"Lord Quitela!!!"
Kuru's heart jolted violently at the sight.
As for Quitela himself, he was even more incredulous.
The mysterious man's speed was simply too fast.
He had not been able to react at all.
"I don't believe it!"
Quitela was being held by the throat, yet aside from disbelief, there was no fear on his face.
Fear?
That didn't exist!
The man might have been fast, but Quitela was a God of Destruction second only to Beerus!
Quitela raised his hand toward Gran's head.
"Destruction!"
Quitela did not hold back in the slightest.
He unleashed his full power, determined to make this man who had humiliated him disappear from existence.
The Eighth-Order Peak Destruction Law immediately surged toward Gran.
If this attack had been unleashed in the outside world, Quitela's full-powered Destruction Law would have been enough to destroy an entire universe.
Yet Gran merely tilted his head slightly.
The attack passed harmlessly by.
"What?!"
Quitela was completely dumbfounded.
Gran's movement just now had been so smooth and natural, almost as if he had predicted the attack beforehand.
Quitela wasn't stupid.
If he still couldn't recognize that something was terribly wrong at this point, then he truly would have been an idiot.
"Trash."
Two indifferent words drifted from Gran's lips.
"You... Who exactly are you?!"
Quitela began to panic.
He grabbed Gran's arm with both hands, trying desperately to pry away that massive iron grip around his neck.
But he couldn't move it at all.
Now Quitela was truly frightened.
Thump!
Thump!
His heart pounded wildly.
Cold sweat streamed down his body.
This mysterious man's strength had surpassed his own!!!
Behind him, Kuru felt as though his entire worldview was collapsing.
Aside from Beerus, there was actually someone in this world whose strength surpassed that of his God of Destruction!
How was that possible?!
Kuru shook his head frantically.
Then he suddenly raised his hand toward Gran, an energy sphere forming in his palm.
"Let go of Lord Quitela!"
"Kuru, stop!!!"
Quitela immediately shouted.
He was somewhat touched that this guy was willing to stand up for him.
But could he have some common sense?!
Even Quitela himself was no match for this man!
Did Kuru seriously think he could kill him?
Kuru's entire body trembled.
He finally realized what he was doing and immediately lowered his hand.
Silence descended over the surroundings.
Seeing that the two had finally backed down, Gran released Quitela.
"Cough! Cough! Cough!"
The moment the hand around his throat disappeared, Quitela coughed violently several times.
"Hmph. As expected, Quitela is annoying in every timeline."
Gran snorted coldly.
If he hadn't needed to ask this Quitela some questions, he would have killed him already.
"Timeline?!"
Quitela and Kuru exchanged a glance.
Both of them saw the same shock reflected in each other's eyes.
Ever since that incident had happened back then, they had completely lost contact with the outside world.
As for other timelines...
That was even more impossible.
"Sir, are you from another timeline?"
Quitela's voice had completely lost the arrogance it possessed earlier.
"??"
Gran was somewhat surprised.
This Quitela actually knew how to bend when necessary.
"Yes."
Gran didn't bother hiding it.
Quitela's eyes immediately lit up.
"Could it be that the Chaos Zone has connected with the outside world again?"
"What is the Chaos Zone?"
"The place we're in right now!"
Hearing this, Gran clenched his fists.
Sure enough, his earlier guess had been correct.
The monsters really had come from the Chaos.
However...
This place didn't look like Chaos at all.
Gran raised his head and surveyed his surroundings.
The entire region was dim and gloomy, much like the Dark Demon Realm, while fragments of destroyed planets floated aimlessly through the void.
"Sir..."
Quitela was about to ask another question.
"Shut up!"
Gran interrupted him.
His voice remained calm and indifferent.
"I have a few questions for you. You shouldn't refuse me now, should you?"
