Uchiha orphan, so what if I'm ruthless?

Chapter 185 : Golden Sword Severs the Mountains and Rivers

The moment the golden sword slashed horizontally, the light on the blade surged, transforming from pale gold to a blazing white-gold. It was so bright it looked as if a sun had exploded in the hands of the Fudo Myoo statue.

The light was blindingly intense, forcing everyone in the distant town to shut their eyes and illuminating the clouds in the sky until they were completely translucent.

The blade extended in an instant, shooting forward violently. It grew from hundreds of meters to thousands of meters long, striking out like a bolt of golden lightning from the Fudo Myoo statue's grasp.

Wherever the blade passed, the air itself was sliced apart before it cleaved into the waist of the Kannon statue.

In that instant, the Kannon statue's body began to disintegrate from the point of impact, bursting apart like a shower of sparks. Countless tiny specks of golden light scattered from the statue's form, exploding like fireworks in the night sky.

As those specks of light rained down upon the distant mountain ranges, they instantly punched massive craters and gaping holes into the rock.

Some struck the mountain peaks, shearing off their summits.

Others hit the mountainsides, carving out gigantic craters.

And some slammed into the base of the mountains, causing massive sections to collapse entirely.

The gale whipped up by the golden sword's slash was fiercer than any previous shockwave. Wherever the wind swept through, rubble was hurled into the air, trees were uprooted, and even the colossal severed wooden arms were sent tumbling across the ground.

The wind was laced with those tiny golden specks; whatever they touched was instantly pierced through.

The slashes themselves were visible to the naked eye. Flying off the edge of the blade, they looked like massive golden scimitars carving arcs through the air.

When those arcs of light struck the earth, they split the ground open, forming bottomless ravines.

The entire battlefield was left in absolute ruins by this single strike.

At the same time, the pale golden chakra flames enveloping Uchiha Taiga surged. The fiery aura made his hair stand on end and caused his clothes to whip wildly in the wind.

Beneath his feet, the Majestic Attire Wooden Golem raised its head. Senju Hashirama and Senju Tobirama felt the earth shake and mountains sway, pitching back and forth as if caught in a massive earthquake.

A normal person would have lost their footing long ago, but Hashirama and Tobirama were far from normal. They managed to maintain their balance, though they ultimately couldn't remain standing in their original positions.

Tobirama placed a hand on Hashirama's shoulder, and in the next instant, the two vanished.

Following the sword strike, the colossal Kannon statue began to crumble, its upper half severing from its lower half.

The upper torso slowly plummeted toward the earth like a collapsing mountain, while the lower half tilted and toppled over to the side like a falling peak.

The Kannon statue was so massive that, to a normal person's eyes, its movements seemed to be playing out a hundred times slower than reality.

Yet, there was no halting its collapse. When the upper half finally slammed into the ground, a colossal mushroom cloud of dust and debris erupted into the air, obscuring half the sky.

Amidst the disintegrating colossus, Uchiha Madara was engulfed by the golden sword light.

His face, which had always borne an expression of arrogant pride, twisted in that moment, filled with an uncontrollable surge of anger and defiance.

"Damn brat!"

Deep blue chakra poured from his body, rapidly condensing around him to form a massive Susanoo in a desperate bid to block the golden specks of light.

However, the golden specks were far too dense. As they pelted the Susanoo, holes instantly riddled its chakra armor.

The holes grew larger, more numerous, and increasingly clustered together.

Under the relentless bombardment of the golden light, the Susanoo's body held on for less than a single breath before deteriorating from a complete colossus into a heavily perforated remnant, and finally shattering into a pile of scattered chakra fragments.

The Susanoo was shattered.

The golden specks then struck Uchiha Madara himself. His Reanimation body began to disintegrate within the golden light. Instead of bleeding or suffering normal wounds, his form began to peel away from the surface like sand, crumbling until it turned to ash.

BOOM!!!

The sound was so deafening that the entire earth trembled. Houses in the distant town shook violently, and some of the observing ninja were thrown to the ground by the sheer force of the vibrations.

The noise came in waves—first a colossal explosion, followed by an endless, rolling echo that rumbled on and on, as if it would never cease.

The spectators watching from afar were gripped by heart-pounding terror.

In their line of sight, all they could see was a sea of golden light erupting from the Fudo Myoo statue's hands, like a sun detonating on the battlefield.

The golden light was so blinding that they had to squint and shield their faces with their arms.

Then, they witnessed the Kannon statue being cleaved in two. The upper half separated from the lower half and slowly plummeted, the descent appearing as sluggish as a frame-by-frame slow-motion reel. Immediately after, the distant mountain ranges collapsed and shattered.

Senju Tobirama and Senju Hashirama reappeared on the town's defensive walls.

Tobirama released his grip on Hashirama's shoulder, his gaze fixed on the distant battlefield that was still in the throes of collapse.

His expression was incredibly grim.

"Brother, that brat is not going to be easy to deal with."

Senju Hashirama nodded.

"I know, but we absolutely cannot allow him to threaten the safety of the ninja world."

He paused, his eyes never leaving the distance.

"After all, the ninja world finally achieved peace. It wasn't easy."

Tobirama looked as though he wanted to say something. He opened his mouth, then closed it again, ultimately saying nothing and simply nodding in silence.

Hovering above the city wall, Onoki was the first to react, his gaze landing on Senju Tobirama.

"To think you two have actually been resurrected."

He clenched his fists, his body trembling slightly. After all, the men before him had been dead for many years, yet here they were, standing alive in front of everyone.

"Damn it, you people from Konoha really are a bunch of lunatics."

Hearing this, Hashirama turned around and looked at Onoki.

His gaze lingered on Onoki's face, his expression shifting from its previous seriousness to one of contemplation.

Then, he scratched his head.

"Ahaha."

"Is that little Onoki? You've gotten so old."

His tone was casual and entirely relaxed.

Onoki's face turned green with indignation.

"Damn it! Don't change the subject!"

His voice grew much louder, so loud that the samurai on the wall all turned their heads to look at him.

"Konoha must give us an explanation for this!"

Watching Onoki yell at Senju Hashirama and Senju Tobirama, Rasa quietly took a few steps back. His face remained expressionless, but inwardly he couldn't help but wonder: 'Is this old man really that brave?'

Those were Senju Hashirama and Senju Tobirama—the God of Shinobi and the fastest man in the ninja world.

Hashirama's smile faded. His expression shifted from relaxed back to serious as he turned around, looking out at the distant battlefield once more, his eyes resting on the Fudo Myoo statue.

"Alright, everyone."

His voice wasn't loud, but it carried a heavy weight.

"Let's put other matters aside for now. There is something much more important we need to deal with."

He pointed into the distance, gesturing toward the Fudo Myoo statue still standing in the center of the battlefield.

The crowd's gaze followed his finger.

In the distance, the sole remaining giant had already turned around amidst the rumbling echoes.

The Fudo Myoo statue's body rotated slowly—so slowly that every detail of its movement could be seen clearly.

At that moment, everyone felt a chill run down their spines.

Raikage A's body tensed. His Lightning Style chakra coated his entire body once more, blue electricity crackling around him.

Rasa's hands trembled as Gold Dust surged from beneath his feet. His throat bobbed as he swallowed hard, taking a deep breath and praying that Uchiha Taiga wouldn't become their enemy in this moment.

Yagura Karatachi raised his coral club, aiming the tip at the distant colossus. Water gleamed at the end of his staff. He remained expressionless, but the corner of his eye twitched.

Onoki's Particle Style flared to life once again, white light flickering in his palms. His hands shook slightly, but his eyes remained locked on the distant giant.

Mifune rested his hand on the hilt of his sword, and his samurai followed suit, hands gripping their weapons.

In the distance, the Fudo Myoo statue had completely turned around, facing the direction of the town.

It stood there like a true Wisdom King, glaring with furious eyes.

Its single arm still gripped the golden sword, the light on the blade flowing sluggishly. The halo behind it, though dimmed, continued to rotate slowly.

Uchiha Taiga stood atop the head of the Majestic Attire Wooden Golem, the five pale golden chakra spheres slowly spinning behind him.

Blood still trickled from the corners of his eyes, but his gaze was incredibly bright, shining like two pale golden stars.

"Senju Hashirama, Senju Tobirama... are you ready?"
