    For years he fulfilled his duties well, eliminating arcane threats to the world. Sadly, his final task held a terrible cost. Burdened by his actions, he retired to a life of solitude, wanting to live out the rest of his days in peace. But one day Death returns – not to reap his soul, but offer a blessing. The chance to reincarnate into another world, one where no one knows his name.
    Levi accepts. Though, he doesn't expect to awaken in the body of a failure: a disgraced noble son, disinherited as heir and on the verge of expulsion from the Institute of Ascension. It seems Death decided to leave some things out...
    He's fine with that, though. Let the nobles sneer. Levi has more important things to deal with. Dangerous monsters, unchecked corruption, eldritch abominations, an enigmatic System... The list goes on and on. Yet, he's not very worried. He's an archmage, after all. So long as he has his magic by his side, he can take on anything.
    When it comes down to it, Levi was gifted a whole new life. And this time? He intends to live it as an adventure.
