Teen Wolf:Predator’s Path

Chapter 121 Hideout

Lucas gave him a file, then began telling him his requirements. "Search for any weird sightings or even government documents with these specific descriptions."

He wanted to use the internet to make a platform that could find shapeshifters more easily. Even uncover what the government knew about them.

He wouldn't buy it for a second that the government wasn't actually already researching this subject.

It can only take one high official, and it could get started. The werewolf bite is basically a miracle for some, especially for those close to death who would do absolutely everything to get their hands on it.

Grant read the file with a weird look in his eyes. He even showed it to the others. Just as he was about to ask, John glared at him.

"I'll look into it!"

Lucas paid no attention to his curiosity and looked at the other men. "You will study the terrain around here. I want to have eyes on all my territory. Find weak spots where we can be hit, and turn them into traps."

This is where the expertise of a top American soldier would come in handy. It's not like hunters can't learn this stuff, but soldiers use it constantly.

The men nodded and went to work, while John took a few steps forward. "The police found some clues linking the dead teenager to some previous murders."

Lucas glanced at him calmly and spoke. "Was it Matt?" Seeing John nod, he didn't add anything. But he could see the curiosity in his eyes.

"Are the police still suspecting me of something?" It's not like he cared that much, but it would be a headache considering the sheriff is Stiles' dad.

"You weren't a big suspect to begin with, and they found footage from a neighbor's camera, which caught your car staying there all night. And it would be hard for someone to travel so fast between the two locations."

'It seems that wasn't for nothing.' He had started parking his car on the street, visible to the other neighbors.

Of course, he didn't think that this was enough as an alibi, but there wasn't any evidence to begin with. "Just focus on the company."

A week passed before anyone could blink. While the building was being renovated, Lucas began training again with Allison.

This time the training was more intense since they had experts in different fields to learn from.

While Lucas was learning more hand-to-hand combat techniques, Allison was learning from Owen how to shoot with a sniper rifle.

Surprisingly enough, she picked it up quickly, and even Owen was surprised. Owen's nickname was "The Reaper." He was the quietest of the team, but also the deadliest.

What Lucas was after was control over his own strength. That's why he always trained in this direction. His strength would always go up, but his control over it would not.

This past week, after training there was school, and their small group had an additional member… well, two members.

He didn't know why, but Lydia started following them everywhere, and because of that Stiles was constantly lingering around them too.

He sometimes wanted to punch him, but he remembered how fragile he was. And if Lydia weren't a girl, she would've been punched by now.

She was glued to Allison, and they didn't even have time to do anything else besides training.

"So this is it?" Allison exclaimed as she looked at the finished building. The front looked ordinary, but that was the objective.

"Yeah. Let's go inside." He didn't want to waste money making it look grandiose. The inside had already sucked 2 million dollars out of his pocket.

Lucas then opened the door and let Allison and Lydia in. That's right, he wasn't kidding when he said that she was everywhere.

As she passed by, she smiled and went inside. Her beauty was one of the reasons he could let it slide.

Seeing John's ugly face every day was horrifying, but on top of that, he had to see the other four during training. So you can imagine his burden.

The first floor was nothing out of the ordinary. It was more like a waiting area. They didn't stay long, and Lucas led them to the elevator.

Once inside, Lucas put his finger on a red scanner, and his fingerprint was scanned as a green light appeared.

"Is this some kind of spy hideout?" Lydia leaned in and started analyzing the buttons.

Lucas didn't answer and pushed her face out of the way, making her glare at him. Not paying attention to her, he pressed the buttons in a certain combination.

Then he looked at Allison. "Did you memorize that?"

She stared seriously at the buttons, then nodded. "I got it."

Then they felt the elevator moving down. It didn't take long before the doors opened. The moment they opened, the girls stared in amazement.
