Chapter 120 Kill?
Lucas stared at Peter boredly, then watched him lunge at him.
Just as Peter imagined the legendary fight that would take place, a loud sound echoed through the house as his body flew back faster than he had come in.
Lucas approached the other room where Peter was trying to catch his breath. "You must be mistaken. Even if you were an Alpha… it wouldn't make a difference."
Just as Peter tried to get up and struggle, Lucas grabbed him by the neck. Even when he tried to break free, Peter's strength was not enough.
Lucas stared directly into his eyes, and a strong killing intent washed over the place. The aura that he emitted was so strong that everyone shivered unconsciously.
Peter's defiant look vanished, and the blue glow inside his eyes dimmed and disappeared.
Lucas' grip increased with each second, and Peter couldn't even utter a word. Suddenly, he felt a familiar presence nearby.
"Malia!" he whispered as he realized who it was, then his gaze became hesitant.
His gaze constantly shifted between the intent to kill and the memories he had with her.
When Peter thought he would finally kill him, Lucas relaxed his grip around his neck and allowed him to breathe.
"Cough! What are you waiting for?!"
Lucas ignored him, then dragged him close to Derek and Lydia. "What should I do with you?"
Peter kept glaring at him without backing down.
Lucas lowered his head and stared coldly into his eyes. "From now on, I own you! I don't care how far you are, when I call, you will answer."
"Kid! Do you really think that… uch!"
Peter grabbed his face in astonishment and looked at him. "You broke my nose!"
"Do you need me to do it again?" Lucas brought his fist closer, making Peter finally shut his mouth.
Although he seemed unafraid of death, that was all an act. If it were true, he wouldn't have schemed so much to come back to life.
Seeing him finally stay silent, Lucas released him, then focused on Derek. He saw the look in his eyes, as if he was about to die.
"Oh please! If I wanted to kill you, I would've done it already." He rolled his eyes, then chose to ignore it. He then focused on the still-shocked Lydia.
He went closer to her and spoke with a smile. "Are you okay?"
Lydia glanced at Peter. Seeing his sorry state brought a sense of pleasure to her. She couldn't forget how he had constantly terrorized her.
She then focused her attention back on Lucas. Although she was still a little afraid of him, his caring attitude finally made her feel at ease. "I-I'm fine!"
Lucas observed her for a few moments, then nodded. He extended his hand towards her, which she hesitated to take for a second before finally accepting it.
After helping her up, he glanced at Peter and Derek and spoke. "You two can sort out your problems." Just as he was about to leave with Lydia, he stopped and glanced at Peter.
"If you leave this town without my permission… I will find you!"
Not waiting for his response, Lucas began walking away. He was worried that he would change his mind and kill Peter on the spot.
As they were walking through the forest, he could sense Malia following behind. Then suddenly, Lydia asked a question that made him think before answering.
"What does everyone keep hiding from me?"
Her expression no longer showed her usual tough persona. She was genuinely confused and scared by everything that was happening.
Lucas didn't answer immediately, and Lydia didn't press him. He didn't really care if Lydia found out about the supernatural world.
On the contrary, it would be an advantage for him to have a banshee on his side. He then began explaining some of the basics about shapeshifters and hunters.
After hearing everything, she gasped in shock. "So you're a hunter? And also a shapeshifter that hunters need to kill?"
He gave her a small smile, then nodded. "Ironic, isn't it?"
"So what am I?" She could put the pieces together by now and figure out that she wasn't normal either.
"A banshee, that's the reason Peter could revive." He began explaining some of a banshee's abilities.
After Lucas finished explaining, Lydia fell silent because she suddenly thought of her grandmother. Everyone had thought she was crazy. But what if she had been a banshee just like her?

The next morning, Lucas was already in the basement of his future base. In front of him stood the first four professional soldiers of his security team.
Right after he brought Lydia home, he had taken Allison aside and explained to her what had happened. Breaking away from his thoughts, he focused on Grant, the brain of the team.
"I heard that you're good with computers?"
Grant puffed out his chest and responded. "The best! Tell me what you need."
"I want you to look for something!"
