Sons of a devil

Chapter 91: The devil’s wrath

The air around them crackled with a dark, oppressive force, and the ground beneath their feet trembled. Eira's body stiffened as she sensed it—the unmistakable presence of their father, the Devil, growing closer, his anger palpable in the night air.

Cain instinctively stepped forward, a protective instinct flaring to life within him. His hand clenched around the hilt of his blade, a weapon infused with his own dark power. Leo and Eren flanked him, their gazes hardening as the storm of tension built around them.

Selene, still holding Eira in her arms, looked up at Cain. Her heart hammered in her chest, but her voice was steady. "We can't let him control her again."

Cain's eyes met hers, and for a moment, the chaos of the world seemed to fade. All that mattered was the woman standing beside him, and the broken soul of his sister lying in his arms. He nodded, his voice calm but fierce. "We won't. We'll protect her."

Eira, barely able to stand on her own, lifted her head. Her eyes glowed with an eerie purple hue, and her voice was heavy with regret and sorrow. "He's coming for me. For us. He won't stop until I'm his again."

Before anyone could speak, the ground shook violently, and a figure appeared from the shadows. Tall, dark, and cloaked in an aura of pure malevolence. The Devil, their father, stood before them, his presence overwhelming, his eyes burning with cold fury.

"You should've never left," his voice rumbled, low and dangerous. "You think you can defy me? You think you can take what's mine?"

Cain stepped forward, his aura crackling with energy. "She's not yours. She never was."

The Devil's eyes flashed with anger. "She is mine. All of you are mine. You were born of my blood, and you will do as I command."

Selene's heart pounded in her chest, but she refused to back down. She stood tall beside Cain, her magic flowing around her in a protective shield. "You'll never control us again. We're stronger than you."

The Devil sneered, his dark laughter echoing through the forest. "Stronger? Is that what you believe? You're nothing but children who don't understand the true extent of your powers."
