Book 3, Chapter 56- A New Kind of Hungover
The next morning, Cait woke up hung over for the first time in three months. When she finally peeled her eyes open, she had to correct, since the beautiful sunset vista outside the penthouse window implied it was not the next morning, but late next evening, pushing into night.
“Whathfuhck,” she mumbled, rolling off of a softly snoring Qi to the side of the bed, making for a big glass of water with a sticky note.
Rehydrate you fucking fiends-
K+L
P.S. Goooood shoooow!
What? Cait thought, fuck, my head is pounding, this feels like the morning after a high school kegger.
She grabbed the glass, downing it in just a few big gulps, ignoring the streams of water that escaped her mouth to run down her neck It wasn’t even cold, so chances were it had been there awhile. She looked behind her, slowly piecing back together what she’d been up to for nearly 24 hours.
Qi hadn’t woken up even when Cait rolled off of her. She was out, sleeping the deep sleep of the completely satisfied. Her stomach actually bulged slightly, something her talons had come to cradle gently absent Cait’s weight.
That CAN’T be what it looks like, Cait thought. She was gonna find out though. She wouldn’t have had the willpower to not try pressing in it if she was at %100 percent, and she was no-where close. Her hand hovered over it for a moment, before she rested her hand between Qi’s talons. Then she pushed.
The only word for it was a gush. The volume of cum that poured out of Qi, steaming from the heat of her insides, was way WAY more than the volume Cait could produce, even on her best day. As far as impossibilities went, it was on the low end of things she’d seen recently, but still fuckin’ weird.
Slowly, she began to recall the state of mind she’d been put into last night. The last real conscious thought she remembered was thinking that Qi’s pussy tasted like magic…… looks like maybe that was true?
Willow’s batting like, .000 for accuracy recently. Immune to battle magic maybe, but not magic dragon reproductive hormones it looks like.
The implication sent a chill down Cait’s spine. Doctors, and thousands of messy but unproductive creampies, had reassured her that she would never bear the burden of father(mother?)hood. Clearly, whatever had happened last night had effected her balls as much as it had her mind though, so she was less sure than she’d like that she hadn’t pumped a kid into Qi.
Well, I mean, fuck, not like I can just scoop this stuff out. In her hands now. But if that is what happened, did she want it?
The question made Cait wonder if she herself wanted if. The answer had been so solidly no for so long it hadn’t even entered her mind until she pondered it for someone else. Quickly, she realized it was still no, but now in the sense that she didn’t want it, less that she hated the very concept. The thought of raising a kid with Lira or Kennedy didn’t fill her with the same kind of abhorrence she’d had to the idea her entire life up until now.
But Qi wasn’t Kennedy or Lira. That wasn’t a quality judgement. Qi was just as beautiful, just as strong, just as worthy of love, but… but Cait didn’t love her. She liked her, liked her a lot, but she knew what love felt like now and this wasn’t it. This was a friendship with animal attraction. Certainly could become love. Was closer to love than most people ever got. But it wasn’t the kind of love that made her want to have Qi mother her children.
I gotta get ‘well well well, if it isn’t the consequences of my actions’ tattooed somewhere. If I even can anymore. It’s the fuckin’ tagline of my life these days. Especially when it comes to this girl.
Cait ran her eyes up Qi’s toned, once-more flat stomach, over the slick valley between her breasts, to the angelically relaxed face, comically at odds with the insanely lewd tableau she presented. Cait smiled, brushing the back of her hand up one high cheekbone, following the line of scales on her cheeks up to one of those majestic horns. She leaned over, softly kissing her on the forehead while shaking her awake.
As her eyes fluttered open, slowly clearing before they locked onto Cait, she gave her a look of such open adoration it nearly stopped Cait’s heart.
“Hey you,” Qi cooed, lifting a talon to mimic Cait’s finger, stroking along her jaw. “You were… last night was….”
Cait didn’t blame her for not having the words, or for the blush that turned her tan skin just one shade pinker.
“You were amazing,” Cait cooed back, leaning down once more to softly press her lips against Qi’s as they pulled up into a pleased smile. “I honestly don’t know how you pulled that out of me.”
Qi looked ashamed, and it broke Cait’s heart.
“Loved every second of it, by the way,” Cait said, punctuating it with another soft kiss that brought the smile back to Qi’s face. It really wasn’t even a lie. At the time, she had. In terms of pure feeling and passion, it was probably the best sex she’d ever had. Now though… well, it hadn’t been her. It felt like it had been someone else doing those things. She wondered it Qi felt the same way, but was terrified of devastating the girl if the answer was no.
“It didn’t feel…. Wrong, to you?” Qi asked, and Cait tried not to let the relief show on her face.
“During? Absolutely not,” Cait answered with a firm shake of her head. Whatever had happened, it had definitely been with consent, even if it might have ended with both of them in a bit of an alterd state. “Though you did manage to give me my first post-superpowers hangover, I think by literally making me cum so much I got dehydrated.”
Qi’s face lit up, voice tinkling with laughter.
“Damn,” she said, shaking her head, “now the supervillains have a way to hurt you.”
“If I get orgasmed to death I think I’ll probably count it as a win,” Cait laughed in return, looking over Qi’s shoulder to the other bedside table. She reached across coming back with another big glass of water, which she wiggled in front of Qi’s lips. “How bout you? I put a lot of liquid in you, but not much in any place that helps with hydration.”
Qi chuckled, taking the glass and bringing it to her lips. It seemed like she was just humoring Cait until the first drops hit her tongue, when those ruby red eyes went wide and she began to gulp it down with comparable gusto as she had Cait the night before.
Cait had a chuckle herself; “Yeah, hits harder after the first sip huh?” she asked, rising from the bed. “Drink up, I’ll grab us both some more.”
Cait scolded herself as she left the room.
The absolute nerve of you, woman. The life you live, and still having the gall to complain. She looked back to where Qi was following her example, water running in streams down her breasts. Just because it was so easy with Kennedy and Lira doesn’t mean you can’t love her. It usually isn’t love at first sight. And whatever happens, you still care about her. Be good.
As she left the room, Lira peeked out from where she was hidden behind a floating display, sprawled out on the couch. Her eyes were wide with both surprise and mischief, and Cait held up a hand futilely to stem the incoming tide of teasing.
“Good morning fuck machine!” Lira all but yelled. She pushed the display to the side, where it remained hanging in midair.
Doesn’t look like Gwyn’s work, Cait’s mind hazily registered, maybe native tech? Gotta be some reason they call this place Technocago besides all the neon.
Lira sat up, crossing her legs on the cushion, and giving Cait a grin that looked like it had never tasted anything but ass product.
“I thought I was the only one who could keep up with you, but you’ve been holding out on me!” she said, words scolding but tone sly, “You know we timed you guys? 8 fucking, heh, literally, hours! We fell asleep, woke up, and you were still just pounding that poor girl!”
“Holy-koff- shit!” Cait said, coughing on the big gulp of water she’d just taken. Her heart fell damn near into her nut-sack. “Oh god, fuck, I don’t wanna go to the bathroom now, last time I had a boner for that long I shot blood clots out of my dick.”
“Really?” Lira asked, curiosity and just a little concern breaking through her amusement.
“Yeah, shit was like Hellraiser, made my mom take me to the ER and everything,” Cait explained, pulse rising at the mere memory.
“Your Mom!?!?” Lira squeaked, grin returning as she realized she’d stumbled on perhaps the one experience Cait was actually embarrassed by.
“I mean, yeah, what, you think I had time to yeet my meat for four hours straight as an adult?” Cait responded, trying to deflect. Lira just gave her a blank stare, and Cait sighed. The explanation fell apart when the two of them had gone for almost that long before, and Cait didn’t even get weekends off and to herself now. “Anyway, yeah, I was fifteen, and we were on a camping trip without any girls that weren’t blood related. Happy?”
“Very happy!” Lira cackled, taking the second glass of water Cait had prepared out of her hands. She patted Cait’s balls the way you might pat a friend’s cast after they’d broken an arm. “I’ll go play nursemaid to Miss Perseverance Pussy, you go see if your dick period came back.”
Cait snorted a laugh into her glass, kicking at Lira’s ankles as she nimbly danced away.
Walking to the bathroom really did feel like walking towards the electric chair. No matter how many times she told herself she was invincible now, or that it had only happened once, the memory of the event was why she still sat down to pee after sex to this day. Least that way she could be sure not to spray blood on the walls, just in case.
Fortunately, in the bathroom, she found nothing but relief, and laid her head in her hands while she used the porcelain throne for its secondary purpose: pondering.
Fuck did I even end up here? I’m a nobody washed-up lothario lab tech, now I’m saving cities daily and sleeping with women more beautiful than I even knew existed nightly. And I’m in love with at least two of them. I really gotta give Qi more of a chance. Not her fault I appear to be cosmically bound to Kennedy, and you cannot convince me that doesn’t have anything to do with our relationship. Not her fault everyone that’s ever even met Lira probably fell in love with her. Qi’s a good woman. A beautiful woman, with a kinder and purer soul than yours. If you’re gonna keep defiling her, you owe her more than the passivity you’ve shown her emotionally.
All that was a long winded, toilet thinking, way to say she needed to spend more time with Qi. Make an effort to love her. She already felt the stirrings of those emotions in Kennedy, so Cait just needed to catch up.
