Loraine’s [Twin Steel Cleavers] cut through the air with remarkable precision, the blades gleaming in the moonlight as they descended upon the Horned Devil Rabbit’s neck.

The blades embedded themselves deep in the monster’s neck, dealing critical damage as blood sprayed everywhere violently, the Devil Rabbit letting out a pained cry as It’s body fell to the ground.
Loraine spun around rapidly to recover, her chest heaving as she glanced at the monster, sweat mixed with the overwhelming surge of adrenaline flooding her veins, her eyes staring at the monster with a nervous expression.
’I....It’s still alive?!’ Loraine thought, absolutely amazed that the monster was still breathing after a fatal attack like that, it’s high Vitality stat making it one heck of a foe.
The Horned Crimson Eyed Devil Rabbit rose from the ground, it’s beady eyes locked on Loraine as it cried out in pain, it’s body lurching forward with great attempt, Loraine watching in astonishment as the beast slowly crept towards her, even though it was on death row.
The Devil Rabbit opened it’s mouth, a powerful [Air Vortex Howl] charging in it’s wake as the air around it began to distort violently, Loraine’s danger alarms going off like crazy as she prepared to evade the attack, her eyes wide with anticipation and focus.
However, just when the blast was going to fire, the [Air Vortex Howl] vanished, the Devil Rabbit’s body going limp in a suspended charging state, Loraine’s eyes widening in surprise as the beast fell to the ground shortly afterward, the system announcing it’s defeat, and the clearing of the Urgent Quest.

"Finally!" Loraine exclaimed in celebration, a boisterous laugh escaping her lips as she threw her arms up in celebratory joy, a huge wave of accomplishment blooming in her chest as she had just defeated her first group of monsters, while being severely handicapped as well.
She collapsed to the ground, panting as she recovered for a moment, her eyes snapping up to look at the stars in the sky as she could finally relax.
After a while of resting, Loraine propped herself up and looked at the system screen before her, a grin forming on her lips as her hand hovered towards it.
"After all that stress, the reward better be something worth it~" Loraine muttered under her breath with a bit of a greedy tone, wanting to feel rewarded for her efforts as she hoped that she could get something good out of the system, her finger tapping on the [Yes] option.

"Woah my Skills levelled up a lot," Loraine muttered to herself in astonishment, a bright glow surrounding her body as all her wounds and injuries, as well as her fatigue from the earlier battle evaporated from her body, leaving her fully healed and rejuvenated.
The notifications didn’t stop however, as after her initial rewards, Loraine was again bombarded with the Bonus rewards she had gotten from completing the Urgent Quest’s bonus condition.

’So this is the Core of the beast, It looks like a giant gemstone, I can barely fit my palm around it.’ Loraine thought to herself in astonishment, turning the [Horned Devil Rabbit Core] around in her palm as she examined it more closely, activating [Eyes Of Appraisal] to appraise her new Item.

Just then however, the sounds of hands clapping approached her from behind, Loraine’s senses going off in rapid alarm as she turned to see Yura approaching, an amused smile playing on the crimson haired adventurer’s lips, Loraine’s eyes widening in horror as she realized that Yura was watching her.
’I didn’t even notice her, I was too busy paying attention on the fight...’ Loraine thought to herself, her heart sinking as Yura was now aware of her ability to fight.
