Loraine smiled upon seeing the rewards presented to her, a powerful surge of energy coursing through her being as she leveled up again, now becoming level 17.
Her skills had also levelled up, with the most notable one being [Cooking Excellence], the Skill being way far ahead of the others due to her repeated usage of the skill in the kitchen.
’2000 Experience Points is not bad, if I’m getting the same amount of EXP after completing the daily quest, then I don’t have to worry about leveling up anymore.’ She said to herself inwardly, her eyes flickering towards the other rewards she had received, her eyes widening in surprise as she felt a jolt to her heart.
"Is that a weapon!?" Loraine blinked, seeing the two Items manifesting out of thin air as the [Twin Steel Cleavers] and [Mana Recovery Potion] landed softly on her lap, Loraine’s body tensing up as she felt the cold steel of the [Twin Steel Cleavers].
She didn’t waste anymore time, her eyes glowing a bright blue as she activated [Eyes Of Appraisal], the two Item’s descriptions making themselves known to her.

’!!?’ Loraine’s eyes sparkled like stars upon seeing the description of the [Twin Steel Cleavers], holding the blades in her hands as she stared at them with a surge of joy erupting in her chest.
"I finally have a real weapon!" Loraine said to herself in triumph, grinning happily as she didn’t have to worry about using the crappy [Steel Knife] anymore, as this weapon had an attack potency 30x bigger than that crappy weapon, and came with a special effect as well.
The [Mana Restoration Potion] was cool as well, but she didn’t really have a use for it at the moment, as her full attention was on the [Twin Steel Cleavers].
"It looks so well made, nobody would suspect that these came from the system." She said to herself, testing out the blades as she began mimicking cutting vegetables in the air, before using them in a more offensive light, slashing the blades and testing out their might in the air.
The [Twin Steel Cleavers] sliced through the air with critical precision, the sounds of steel reverberating through the air from her swings echoing in her ears. She felt a bit awkward using them in her room like this, as she wasn’t hitting anything in particular and probably looked super goofy doing it as well.
"Alright, enough playing pretend, let’s get started with the real deal." Loraine said to herself, storing her [Twin Steel Cleavers] and [Mana Restoration Potion] away as she glanced at her [Ring Of Storage].
’Let’s find out what you’re really hiding...’ She thought to herself, walked over to her bedroom door. ’I should lock this, just to make sure nobody enters while I’m doing this.’
The door clicked shut as she locked it from the inside, a small weight lifting off her shoulders as she wouldn’t have to worry about her actions being discovered, as if anyone were to knock, she would have more than enough time to get rid of all the evidence.
Loraine focused her attention back to the task at hand, closing her eyes as the [Ring Of Storage] on her finger glowed brightly, a massive amount of Items flying out of the ring and quickly taking up all the space on the floor, the sounds of steel and other Items crashing together snapping her out of her thoughts as she looked at the mess on the floor.
"What the hell...." Loraine’s eyes widened in surprise, as all the Item’s had a strong glow to them, a whole mountain of treasure being formed in her room as she realized just how much was stored inside her [Ring Of Storage].
It was all insane to her, but at the same time, equally as frightening as among all the glitter and shine of the Items in front of her, there were also some very, very bad stuff among them.
A giant pile of a crystal-like substance, plant herbs placed in plastic pouches that gave off a strong, intoxicating smell, a crap ton of gold, silver, and bronze coins, the whole floor a shiny mess of wealth as she couldn’t wrap her head around the insane amount that would add up to if calculated.
Beside all of that, a ton of jewelry that ranged from bland and ordinary, to straight up expensive ones that housed gemstones and rare minerals inside the them. Some gave off a faint glow around themselves, highlighting that they perhaps possessed magical abilities.
Loraine’s hand flew to her mouth, pure horror being reflected in her gaze as she realized that all of these Items were illegal, even if she couldn’t tell what they were exactly. She watched more than enough episodes of a particular show in her past life, featuring a bald man to know just how bad these stuff can be.
"Drugs...substances...there’s so much of it everywhere..." Loraine muttered to herself in shock, unable to wrap her head around it all. Her hands trembled at her sides, her heart rate spiking as the cardiac muscle in her chest raced, her eyes glued to the mountain of illegal treasure in all its glory.
’Calm down, calm down...panicking’s not going to solve anything.’ She instructed herself, slapping her cheeks with her hands as she snapped herself out of her thoughts, shaking her head vigorously to regain her focus.
The situation was bad, as this amount of illegal contraband and other resources hinted to Loraine that whoever Jack’s boss was, was not to be messed with.
’Great...don’t tell me I’ve gotten entangled with the mafia...’ Loraine thought to herself, a sigh escaping her lips as she crouched down toward the large pile of treasure in her room.
She had already stolen a lot from them, there was no use in feeling bad for what she did, as she knew for a fact that they were going to kill her if they found out she took it.
Fortunately however, there were a lot of valuable Items that she could use for herself to help prepare for the future if a confrontation was imminent, her hands landing on a pair of blue crystal earrings, radiating a fierce golden glow that mimicked the glow of her [Ring Of Storage].
The Item was beautifully crafted, the pair of crystal earrings a beautiful sight as she turned them over in her grasp, the Item giving off a powerful aura as she immediately realized what it was.
