One Piece: SSS-Rank Haki at Age Seventeen

Chapter 180: Hancock’s Transformation!!

At the same time, deep within the dense forest on the outskirts of Amazon Lily, a campfire crackled loudly.

Orange flames licked the skewers of roasting meat hanging over thick branches. Fat dripped down, sparking tiny bursts of fire as it hit the coals. The scent of burning fruitwood mixed with the rich aroma of sizzling meat, spreading through the damp night air.

The smell was warm and powerful, drifting through layers of jungle leaves. Even a few bold beasts lingered in the shadows, tempted by the fragrance.

"Hahaha!"

A hearty laugh broke the silence of the forest.

Bathed in firelight, Silvers Rayleigh tore off a large piece of perfectly roasted meat and chewed with satisfaction.

"Sanji-kun's barbecue really is unmatched! This kind of seasoning and heat control deserves to accompany any victory feast!"

Beside the fire, Trafalgar Law presented a tragic yet almost comical contrast to Sanji.

He was still trying to maintain the signature cold composure of the "Surgeon of Death."

But his clothes were in tatters—shredded by thorns, rocks, and rough terrain until they hung like strips of ragged cloth.

Even more noticeable were the bandages.

From shoulder to calf, he was wrapped almost completely, looking like a mummy freshly dug out of a grave.

Without a word, he accepted the grilled meat Sanji handed him.

His movements were stiff as he chewed quickly.

On the other side, however, the blond cook looked entirely different.

Sanji's fingers moved with calm precision as he sprinkled the last bit of mixed herbs and secret spices over the meat, releasing an even richer aroma.

Unlike Law's visible injuries, Sanji appeared almost unharmed.

After a half day of what could only be described as monster-level sparring with Luffy—and being used as a punching bag countless times—Sanji's body showed little more than dust and a few torn edges of clothing.

His awakened genetic enhancements were surging through him.

They gave him bones like steel and terrifying recovery ability. Bruises faded quickly, and torn muscle fibers greedily repaired themselves as he ate.

As long as the damage wasn't instantly fatal, he seemed able to recover even amid smoke and pain.

But physical vitality couldn't hide the storm raging inside his mind.

The cigarette in his mouth glowed faintly.

Thin smoke curled upward, mixing with the aroma of roasting meat and partially obscuring his face.

His eyes—usually flirtatious or sharp—stared past the dancing flames.

Past the thick darkness of the Amazon jungle.

Toward a distant place.

The direction of the legendary island inhabited only by beautiful women—

Amazon Lily.

Why?!

The silent cry echoed inside his chest.

Why could that idiot captain stroll proudly into the paradise every man dreamed of?

And he—

A gentleman.

A knight of chivalry.

—was stuck out here in the wilderness.

Surrounded by rough men.

Spending the night by a campfire while mosquitoes buzzed and wild beasts howled in the distance.

Heaven was unjust!!

In his imagination, Luffy was probably being surrounded by countless beautiful women on that island.

Meanwhile, Sanji was stuck watching Rayleigh's hearty eating and smelling the heavy medicinal ointments coming from Law's bandages.

The emotional damage cut deeper than any Armament Haki strike.

His genetic enhancements could heal physical wounds.

But they couldn't cure the injustice etched deep into his soul.

Meanwhile…

Inside the palace bedroom.

The carved wooden door was slightly ajar.

Moonlight filtered through the crack, scattering silver patterns across the floor—over silk bedding and scattered clothing.

Luffy slowly regained consciousness.

Before his eyes opened, his nose caught the complex scent lingering in the air.

He moved his fingers slightly.

His muscles ached lazily, like after an intense battle—yet wrapped in an unfamiliar softness.

Looking downward—

he saw smooth, pale skin marked with faint red traces.

Like plum blossoms blooming in fresh snow.

Boa Hancock lay against his chest.

Her long eyelashes still held tiny beads of sweat that trembled with each breath, like butterfly wings resting on flower petals.

Her black hair spilled across his stomach.

The contrast between dark hair and pale skin created an almost surreal beauty.

Her slender body pressed against him without reservation.

Warm.

Soft.

Alive.

Suddenly, Hancock lifted her head.

Those eyes—usually filled with pride and charm—were now misty with emotion.

Yet they shone brilliantly.

Joy.

Satisfaction.

And a faint trace of shy happiness swirled in their depths.

Her lips, already naturally red, looked even fuller now.

A captivating smile curved across them.

She raised her chin slightly, her voice soft and hoarse from exhaustion—yet firm with absolute certainty.

"Luffy…"

"I have finally become your wife."

The moment the words left her lips, she buried her face into his chest again, pressing closer as if trying to fuse their warmth together.

The crimson mark on the bedsheet resembled a blooming flower against white snow.

"W-wife…?"

Luffy's eyes widened instantly.

His pupils shrank into tiny dots.

How did it suddenly become wife?!

He stared blankly at the beauty in his arms.

His thoughts drifted strangely.

For no clear reason, a silver-haired figure with red eyes suddenly flashed across his mind.

There was no proof.

But Luffy's instincts were sharp.

Perhaps Hancock's sudden boldness—

her burning determination—

came from jealousy?

The thought startled him.

"Eh?!"

The shocked sound escaped before he could stop it.

No matter how this situation was explained—

the evidence on the bedsheets was undeniable.

Who would believe he had simply been dragged into it?

"Alright, Hancock… you should sleep. You must be tired."

He forced his thoughts away and looked down at her gently.

When his fingers touched her smooth skin, his voice softened instinctively.

But the woman in his arms shook her head slowly.

Her blue eyes shimmered under the moonlight.

Her flushed cheeks deepened in color, even the tips of her ears turning pink.

Her eyelashes trembled with a mixture of hesitation and hope.

Her voice came out soft and sweet.

"How about… one more time?"

"Huh?!"

The casual suggestion struck Luffy like thunder.

She looked completely exhausted already.

How could she still ask that?!

Before he could react—

Hancock moved again.

Her arms tightened around his neck, pulling herself closer.

Her body pressed against his chest.

The warmth between them felt almost burning.

The softness against him left him frozen.

The misty tenderness in her eyes was replaced with pure affection.

She tilted her head.

Her lips brushed lightly against his jaw.

Then she gently nipped his ear, whispering softly:

"Luffy… I want more…"

Her fingers slid slowly across his chest.

The cool touch ignited sparks wherever it passed.

Outside the window, the moonlight seemed to grow softer.

Inside the room, the quiet night was filled with warmth and the sound of their breathing.
