"Mr. Branton," the director said, placing the papers on his cluttered desk, "we've received a flood of customer complaints about Myra. These are just a few of the more urgent cases."
Carlos frowned. "That many?"
The director hesitated, then decided not to sugarcoat it. "To be honest, this is just the tip of the iceberg."
Carlos slammed his palm onto the desk. "What the hell is going on? Get Lloyd in here—now!"
Lloyd, head of the R&D department, was the same bespectacled man who had once been roughed up by John in that abandoned warehouse. He had personally provided the formula for Myra.
