"No special plans. I'm completely free. What's up, Masha?" Ren replied, turning his head towards the girl beside him.
"The student council is planning to go to the beach after all the post-exam administrative work is done. Each member can bring a friend. Is Rokuhara-kun interested in joining?"
"The beach, huh... Sounds interesting. Alright, no problem. I'll go."
Hearing his positive answer, a bright smile immediately adorned Masha's face.
"Really? I'm so happy! Then, don't go home first, okay? Just wait until the student council work is finished. It won't take long. I'll contact you once everything is ready."
"Okay." Ren nodded slightly in response.
Not long after, a small scene caught his attention.
"Hey, Kuze-kun." Alya said in a curt tone, but with a hint of hidden hope, occasionally glancing at Ren.
"You know, the student council is going to the beach after this? Well... if you don't mind... you could... come with us. But don't get the wrong idea! I just happen to have no other plans. It's not like I want to go with you!"
Kuze looked slightly surprised by the sudden invitation but quickly offered a faint smile.
"Of course, Alya. I would be happy to join."
