'So Tachibana-sensei is in the same situation as me.' Itsuki thought with lingering shock.
Amidst the embarrassment and anxiety, she found a glimmer of relief. She hadn't expected another teacher at the same school to be experiencing something similar—being pregnant by her own student.
Considering there were no outsiders besides the four of them in this quiet changing room, Itsuki decided to confess the truth.
"That... Tachibana-sensei is right." Itsuki said in a soft but firm tone, looking at Hina with a bit of embarrassment but also relief. "Ren-kun is the father of the baby I'm carrying."
"I knew it!" Hina exclaimed with sparkling eyes, tightly grasping Itsuki's hand. "Ever since I first saw Nakano-sensei and Rokuhara-kun together, I had a feeling about it."
As if finding a comrade in arms, Hina looked at Itsuki with sudden enthusiasm.
"Nakano-sensei. I really wish we could become closer. Honestly, I've been feeling so uncomfortable all this time because I don't have someone who's really on the same wavelength to talk to about... Well, you know..."
Hina glanced at her own stomach with a bit of awkwardness.
Itsuki felt a sudden warmth and sense of solidarity from Hina. She nodded gently and returned Hina's hand squeeze.
"Of course, Tachibana-sensei. We share the same secret. I also feel better now that I'm not alone."
"Then just call me Hina, and I'll call you Itsuki." Hina said with a sincere smile.
