Chapter 26: After modification - 26 Put on the Agenda
"I had Cheng Zhang take her to the train station." Yan Zhen Guo stood up after saying this, walked into the bedroom, picked up his military cap, and went out.
Before going out, he added, "Before I come back tonight, I want to see dinner on the table, or else, figure it out yourself."
The last sentence sent a shiver down Gu Fuqiao’s spine.
After Yan Zhen Guo walked out, Gu Fuqiao shook her head and muttered to herself, "Living here is so hard! Why didn’t I start with an unusual plot twist? Like the male lead being only interested in the female lead and no one else? But having someone like Yan Zhen Guo as a husband doesn’t seem too bad, he’s well-endowed, good in bed, and can even run errands like a delivery guy... What am I thinking?"
Gu Fuqiao was shocked by her own thoughts.
She quickly shook her head to rid herself of those ridiculous ideas.
After tidying up the dishes, she remembered the dress borrowed from the hospital lady, which she hadn’t returned yet, so she put it in a bag and went out.
Gu Fuqiao still couldn’t recognize the roads well, but she wasn’t completely directionless. After asking for directions, she found her way to that hospital in a little over half an hour.
As she walked into the gynecology section, the female doctor happened to not be seeing any patients and was reading a medical book.
"Auntie," Gu Fuqiao walked into the examination room.
The female doctor looked up, saw it was the girl from yesterday, and smiled, "Did you walk here? You look so hot."
