The multi-dimensional barrier hummed, its hexagonal surface vibrating so violently that the ambient light within the dome distorted into a kaleidoscope of shattered violet and crimson. Inside this isolated pocket of space, the air didn't move; it suffocated.
Guy Crimson held Tenma loosely in his right hand, the legendary demonic blade drawing an invisible line of raw heat through the air. His crimson hair caught the artificial glare of the barrier, his dark red eyes narrowed into a gaze of pure, ecstatic focus.
"Don't make me do all the work, little brother," Guy purred.
In a fraction of a millisecond, the space between them vanished.
There was no sound of a footstep, no ripple in the air. Guy simply appeared directly within Loki's blind spot, Tenma descending in a flawless, vertical arc meant to bisect the world itself. The sheer speed of the strike bypasses the concept of reaction time, fueled by a passive output of magicules that would have instantly melted the spiritual core of an average Archdemon.
Clang!
The sound wasn't a metallic ring, but a localized shockwave that flattened the cracked clay beneath their feet into glass.
Loki hadn't drawn a weapon. He stood casually, his right arm raised just high enough to intercept the edge of Tenma. Coated in a dense, hyper-compressed layer of Demon Lord Haki and his own unique violet magic, his bare forearm blocked the divine blade perfectly. The impact sent a spiderweb of violent purple lightning crackling outward, tearing up the earth for a hundred yards around them.
"You're moving a bit slow today, Guy," Loki smirked, his arrogant expression entirely unchanged. "Did Rain skimp on your morning coffee?"
With a sharp flick of his wrist, Loki redirected the kinetic energy of the blade, sliding his arm along the flat of the sword to punch straight toward Guy's jaw. The fist carried the weight of a meteor, the spatial friction creating a miniature sonic boom before the strike even connected.
Guy's head tilted back by an inch, the fist grazing the air in front of his nose. At the same time, Guy pivoted smoothly on his heel, using the momentum to deliver a devastating kick aimed directly at Loki's ribs. Loki caught the heel with his left hand, the impact rattling the dense magical circuits inside his custom adventure duster. The fabric glowed aggressively, absorbing the brunt of the localized pressure before dispersing it into the ground.
The ground beneath them groaned. A massive fissure split the barren clay, plunging down into the dark mantle of the earth, yet neither man moved from their square yard of engagement.
"Kahahahaha! Not bad!" Guy laughed boisterously, pushing off Loki's grip and leaping backward into a low, predatory stance. He spun Tenma with casual ease, his aura flaring into a blazing pillar of dark red flames. "Your defenses are as obnoxious as your mouth. Let's see how you handle a bit of pressure."
"Be my guest," Loki replied, adjusting the collar of his high duster. He didn't take a defensive stance; he merely let his hands hang loosely, the violet light in his eyes deepening into an abyssal hue.

Beyond the boundaries of the isolated Barren Lands, across the vast expanses of the central continent and the hidden domains of the world, the heavyweights of the Octagram were watching. High-level spatial observation projections relayed through complex magical arrays. Flickered to life in various palaces, casting the grand stage in crystal-clear detail.
In the pristine, gothic throne room of Night Rose, Luminous Valentine sat elegantly on her velvet throne, a silver chalice of blood-wine held loosely in her delicate fingers. Her heterochromic eyes tracked the blurring movements of the two combatants with a look of deep, aristocratic annoyance.
"Hmph. Look at those two brutes," Luminous muttered, taking a slow sip. "To turn an entire wasteland into their personal playground just to test their egos. The sheer waste of magicules is utterly vulgar. If a single one of those stray shockwaves leaks toward the Holy Empire, I will personally see to it that both of them pay a hefty compensation fee."
"Oh, come now, Luminous," a cheerful, high-pitched voice echoed from a small, floating fairy. Ramiris was hovering directly in front of the projection screen, her tiny hands pressed against her cheeks as she cheered. "This is amazing! I haven't seen Guy smile like that since his last sparring match with Milim! Go get him, Loki! Knock that smug look right off his face!"
Meanwhile, in the beast kingdom of Eurazania. Milim Nava was practically vibrating with excitement. She was sitting on a massive stone bench, her pink twin-tails swaying violently. To her left and right stood Frey and Carrion, both looking at the projection with expressions of pure, unadulterated sweat-inducing terror.
"Kahahahaha! Look at that punch! Did you see that, Frey?!" Milim yelled, pointing a finger enthusiastically at the shimmering screen. "Loki blocked Tenma with his bare arm! I want to fight him next! I definitely want to fight him next!"
"Milim-sama, please calm down," Frey sighed, rubbing her temples as she tried to maintain her composure. "The barrier they've erected is a multi-layered domain. Even from here, the magical displacement is interfering with our regional weather patterns. If you join in, the planet itself might split in half."
"She's right, Milim-sama," Carrion added, crossing his massive arms, a grim grimace on his face. "Those two aren't even using named skills yet. That's pure, raw physical output and basic magicule reinforcement. The fact that they are perfectly equal at that baseline is... frankly terrifying."
Deep within the Golden Palace of the El Dorado continent, Leon Cromwell stood silently before his own massive projection. His long, golden hair fell flawlessly over his white and gold attire. His expression remained entirely stoic, but his hand gripped the armrest of his throne just a fraction tighter as he watched Loki effortlessly parry Guy's legendary blade.
"Loki's growth is abnormal," Leon murmured softly, his cool voice echoing in the empty hall. "To match Guy's martial prowess without drawing a weapon... he has refined his internal energy to a degree that makes conventional magic calculation completely irrelevant. This isn't just a duel; it's a demonstration."
Back at the edge of the Barren Lands, just outside the physical boundary of the barrier, the executive lineup of Coleus stood watching the real-time spectacle.
Testarossa, Ultima, and Carrera were practically glowing with fanatical pride.
"See? What did I tell you, Noir?" Carrera laughed proudly, her fingers twitching over her sidearm as she watched the shockwaves ripple. "Loki-sama didn't even flinch against Tenma. Guy Crimson is just a relic of the old days. The future belongs to Coleus!"
"Loki-sama's movements are beautiful," Ultima swooned, her eyes shining with absolute adoration. "He's playing with him. He's totally playing with him!"
Testarossa kept her hands folded elegantly before her, her crimson eyes reflecting the violet light of Loki's aura. "The outcome was decided before they even stepped onto the field. Loki-sama's intellect encompasses all possibilities. Guy Crimson is merely realizing his place in our master's grand design."
Standing slightly to the side, Noir observed the exchange with a highly analytical, thoroughly entertained expression. His golden-crimson pupils tracked every micro-movement, every slight shift in weight, and every subtle displacement of space.
"Kufufufu... how magnificent," Noir whispered, his voice vibrating with a pure, academic ecstasy. "The perfect distribution of force, the absolute mastery over the body's baseline density. My brother has truly reached a terrifying altitude. Rouge is trying to force an opening through sheer, oppressive weight, but Loki is treating the space around him like a liquid, flowing around the edge of every strike. This is a dance of absolute equals."
Deep within the mountainous borders overlooking the Barren Lands, the titanic Lord of the Earth, Dagruel, stood like an immovable peak. His massive, dark-skinned frame was taut, his arms crossed over his chest as he looked down at the shimmering dome miles away. The vibrations from the battle were traveling through the very tectonic plates, causing the mountain range beneath his feet to rumble in a continuous, low-pitched growl.
Beside him stood his giant brother, Glassord, his face pale as he adjusted the heavy guard of his massive weapon.
"Brother..." Glassord spoke, his voice trembling slightly against the constant seismic hum. "Is it truly alright to allow this fight to happen right on our doorstep? Those two... they aren't even going all out yet. None of their catastrophic skills have been deployed, and yet the seismic vibrations are already threatening to shatter the foundational bedrock of our entire territory. Can we not force them to move?"
Dagruel did not turn his head. His eyes remained locked on the shimmering violet and crimson sphere in the distance.
"Do not speak foolishness, Glassord," Dagruel rumble, his voice like grinding boulders. "Look closely at the space surrounding that barrier. The density of the leaked magicules has already ionized the atmosphere. The gravity in a three-mile radius around that dome is fluctuating by the second."
He lowered his arms, his expression turning incredibly grave.
"There is absolutely nothing we can do about it now," Dagruel warned, his voice heavy with the absolute truth of the world's hierarchy. "The boundary between those two has become a absolute zone of erasure. Anyone who dares step onto that battlefield right now, even an awakened Demon Lord will be turned to absolute dust before they can even draw a breath. We can only watch, and pray their barriers hold."
Inside the dome, the pace of the battle violently escalated.
Guy shifted his grip, Tenma blurring into a visual illusion of a hundred simultaneous slashes.
The air turned into a solid wall of red, cutting edges, each one capable of cleaving a spiritual body into microscopic fragments. The localized reality inside the barrier began to tear, showing glimpses of the dark void beneath.
Loki's smirk finally sharpened into a genuine, competitive grin. He took a single step back, his custom duster flaring with an blinding, absolute violet light as he unleashed his own counter-barrage.
With movements that defied the laws of physics, Loki unleashed a flurry of hyper-compressed punches that met every single one of Guy's slashes head-on.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
A rapid-fire succession of world-shattering explosions echoed inside the sealed dimension. Every time a fist met a blade, a blinding flash of purple and red light illuminated the wasteland. The clay beneath them finally gave way entirely, completely disintegrating into fine, atomic dust, leaving both Demon Lords suspended in the air, floating over a massive, hollow crater that stretched for miles.
They bounced off one another, rewriting their momentum in mid-air to clash again and again.
To the outside world, they looked like two streaks of light. One a burning, primordial crimson, the other a sleek, sovereign violet slamming into each other with the force of collapsing stars.
As they separated once more, hovering on opposite sides of the massive, self-created abyss, both men were breathing slightly heavier, their malicious auras bleeding outward like twin typhoons.
"Kahahahaha! Excellent, Loki!" Guy roared, a wildly ecstatic grin spreading across his face as he wiped a small drop of sweat from his chin. "You really are something else! The warm-up is officially over!"
Loki casually cracked his knuckles, the energy around his fists humming with an even denser, more compressed power. His duster fluttered lazily in the vacuum of the barrier.
"I was thinking the exact same thing, Guy," Loki smirked, his eyes burning with a absolute, dangerous light. "Let's see if you can handle the real show."
