Kael wasn’t in any rush to enter the Tower.

Before heading into the next trial, he needed to make a few preparations.

Potions were the first thing on his list.

Most of the potions currently in his possession were low-level ones, and with his current level, their effects had already become rather limited. They were still useful for emergencies, but relying on them during a difficult battle would be far from ideal.

Kael picked up his phone and opened the Hunter’s Association website.

The Association’s website wasn’t simply used for administrative matters. There was an entire section dedicated to businesses and organizations that provided services and supplies for Hunters, a marketplace of sorts, tucked in alongside the licensing forms, forums and mission boards.

Guilds, potion manufacturers, equipment stores, and various other businesses could establish their own shops there, allowing Hunters to purchase what they needed directly through the Association’s platform.

Kael entered his requirements and began searching.

It didn’t take long.

After finding the potions he needed, he placed the order and waited.

Fortunately, the delivery arrived relatively quickly.

Kael collected the package before returning home and informing Lyra that he was going to enter the Tower.

Her reaction was exactly what he expected.

Kael had to spend quite some time convincing her that he wasn’t rushing into the Tower recklessly. Eventually, she reluctantly agreed, though not before making it clear that she would hold him personally responsible if he returned injured again.

With that settled, Kael returned to his room.

He stripped off his clothes and immediately put on his combat suit. Once that was done, he fastened the Spectre-X nano bracelet around his wrist.

His preparations were complete.

It was finally time.

Kael focused his mind and willed himself to enter the Tower. The next instant, his body vanished from his room.

When his vision returned, he was already standing inside the Start Room.

Kael didn’t immediately rush toward the next trial.

The next trial was the boss trial.

And considering that he had spent several days lying in a hospital bed, he needed to properly adjust his physical body and mind before entering.

So he spent some time warming up.

He stretched his body, moved around, and gradually got his muscles working again.

After a while, Kael finally felt ready.

He was about to head toward the next floor when another thought crossed his mind.

His days were only going to become busier from here.

The Mothlight Guild required his attention. The Tower Trials would continue getting more difficult. There were also his personal life and countless other matters waiting for him outside the Tower.

Finding enough time to cultivate the Primordial Genesis Sutra was going to become increasingly difficult.

That could become a serious problem.

The Primordial Genesis Sutra wasn’t some minor cultivation technique he could afford to neglect. It was one of the cornerstones of his strength.

Kael frowned.

Then an idea came to him.

Could his Void Echoes cultivate in his place?

There was only one way to find out.

Kael immediately activated Void Echoes.

A drain of mana passed through his body.

The next instant, a flash of light appeared before him, and a perfect copy of himself emerged from it.

The Void Echo looked almost identical to him. It had the same height, the same build, the same posture, and even the same general appearance.

There was only one obvious difference.

Its eyes were as dark as the void itself.

Kael couldn’t help feeling slightly uncomfortable as he stared at his own face standing in front of him.

It was an incredibly strange experience.

He shook off the feeling and gave the Void Echo its command.

"Cultivate the Primordial Genesis Sutra."

The Void Echo immediately sat down in a lotus position.

It closed its eyes and began circulating the cultivation technique.

Kael watched.

Seconds passed.

Then minutes.

The Void Echo remained completely still as it continuously cultivated, drawing upon the surrounding energy and circulating it according to the Primordial Genesis Sutra.

Kael continued watching.

Eventually, a subtle change occurred.

One of the Void Echo’s cells began transforming.

The transformation was incredibly profound.

The cell gradually evolved into something resembling a tiny planetary embryo.

Kael’s eyes brightened.

"Great."

A smile appeared on his face.

"Now this is what I’m talking about."

This was an excellent development.

As long as his Void Echoes could cultivate in his place, Kael wouldn’t have to worry nearly as much about losing cultivation time because of his increasingly busy schedule.

The only unfortunate part was that a Void Echo could only remain active for two hours.

Still, that was better than nothing.

Kael folded his arms.

There was another question, however.

Would the Void Echo remain after he left the Tower?

Technically, it should.

The Void Echo existed as an independent entity rather than something that required Kael to constantly supply mana to remain active. And the start room was a permanent space.

If that was the case, there shouldn’t be any reason for the Void Echo to disappear simply because Kael left.

But then again, the Tower wasn’t exactly an existence that followed common sense.

Kael wasn’t willing to make assumptions about its rules.

"You seem bothered by something."

A voice suddenly came from behind him.

"Feel free to ask."

Kael turned around.

A tiny fairy hovered in the air several meters away.

Aiona.

Kael blinked.

Then he realized how obvious the answer had been.

Aiona was his personal Tower Guide.

Over the course of his previous trials, his exceptional results had caused Aiona’s authority within the Tower to increase considerably. If anyone could answer a question regarding the Tower’s rules, she was probably the best person to ask.

Kael sighed at his own shortsightedness.

"I do have a problem."

He briefly explained his concerns regarding the Void Echo and whether it would continue existing inside the starting room after he left the Tower.

Aiona listened patiently.

Once Kael finished, she gave him a simple answer.

"You don’t have to worry about it."

Kael raised an eyebrow.

"Since the Void Echo is an independent existence, it can remain within the starting room indefinitely. It doesn’t require you to remain inside the Tower to maintain its existence."

Kael’s eyes widened.

"Really?"

"Yes."

Aiona nodded.

"The only limitation is that it won’t have the ability to enter or exit the Tower on its own."

Kael’s expression immediately brightened.

That meant he could use the Void Echo to cultivate for himself whenever he wanted. He just had to enter the Tower, summon his Void Echoes, give them cultivation commands, and leave them behind to keep cultivating while he went about his other business.

More importantly, he wasn’t limited to a single Void Echo.

He could summon up to seven.

Seven independent existences cultivating the Primordial Genesis Sutra simultaneously.

Kael’s satisfaction grew as he considered the possibilities.

He had almost overlooked such a simple solution.

Fortunately, he had thought of it before things became too busy.

Kael glanced toward the Void Echo still sitting quietly in meditation.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

This was going to save him a tremendous amount of time.
