SSS-Rank Awakening: My Talent Multiplies Everything

Chapter 208: The Upgraded Spectre-X Nano Armor.

Time passed, and after a while, Kael finally returned to his room with his stomach stuffed to the brim. Lyra’s cooking had left him completely satisfied, and the moment his head touched the pillow, he had no intention of getting back up.

He fell asleep almost immediately.

Kael slept through the entire night, his body finally getting the natural rest it needed. When he finally woke up, it wasn’t because of the sunlight filtering through the curtains.

He fell asleep almost immediately.

Kael slept through the entire night. When he woke up, it wasn’t because of the sunlight filtering through the curtains.

It was the doorbell.

Ding-dong!

Kael groaned.

Still half-asleep, he slowly dragged himself out of bed and rubbed his eyes as he made his way out of his room. His hair was a mess, and his movements were sluggish as he walked toward the front door.

Lyra was already there.

She had opened the door and was speaking to someone outside. When she noticed Kael approaching, she turned toward him.

"Here he comes."

Kael walked over and looked through the doorway.

A man was standing outside.

He appeared to be a delivery worker, holding a small package in his hands.

"Are you Mr. Kael Voss?"

"Yeah."

The man pulled out a small notepad and held it toward him.

"Could you please sign here?"

He pointed toward a small section at the bottom.

Kael took the notepad, signed his name, and handed it back.

The man checked the signature before passing him a small package.

"Thank you."

Kael nodded.

The delivery man turned around and walked away without saying anything else.

Kael closed the door.

He then looked toward Lyra.

She was staring at the package in his hands with a mischievous expression.

"What’s that?"

She tilted her head.

"Got a little fancy ring for your girlfriend?"

"Shut up."

Kael immediately turned around and began walking toward his room.

Behind him, Lyra burst into laughter.

Kael sighed.

Just yesterday, she had been pampering him because he had just recovered from a serious injury.

This morning, she had already returned to being a little demon.

He shook his head and continued toward his room.

Once inside, Kael placed the package on his bed before examining it.

The exterior packaging was fancy, but he didn’t care much about that. He immediately tore through it, revealing a solid metal box underneath.

Now that was more interesting.

Kael opened the box.

Inside was a small bracelet.

It had a sleek black finish with thin blue lines running through its surface. Even before touching it, Kael could tell this wasn’t the same Spectre-X nano bracelet he had previously owned.

This one looked considerably more luxurious.

The craftsmanship was also on another level.

Kael picked it up and examined it for a few seconds before applying pressure to the bracelet with his fingers.

Nothing happened.

It didn’t even show the slightest sign of giving way.

A smile appeared on Kael’s face.

"Yeah. Definitely high quality."

He slipped the bracelet around his wrist.

The moment it touched his skin, a cold sensation spread across his wrist as the bracelet automatically adjusted itself and locked perfectly into place.

Then, information flooded into his mind.

Kael remained still for a moment as the manual of the upgraded Spectre-X nano armor was transmitted directly into his neural network.

He took some time to digest everything.

By the time he finished, a smile had appeared on his face.

"Yeah. Definitely worth it."

There were several new features.

The first was the Split Part function.

His previous Spectre-X nano armor could only activate as a complete suit once he triggered it. The new version was far more flexible.

Kael could now choose a specific part of his body and activate the nano armor there without having to cover his entire body.

More importantly, even when using the full-body armor, he could redirect additional energy toward specific areas and reinforce them beyond the normal level.

That meant he could strengthen his chest, head, joints, or any other vital area whenever necessary.

For someone who regularly found himself fighting enemies capable of dealing devastating attacks, that function alone was incredibly useful.

But it wasn’t even the most impressive upgrade.

The new Spectre-X nano armor had thrusters.

Actual thrusters.

The armor could now generate enough propulsion to allow the wearer to fly.

Of course, keeping the thrusters active would consume a significant amount of energy, meaning prolonged flight wasn’t something he could use recklessly. Still, the fact that the armor could provide true aerial mobility was more than enough to excite Kael.

Flight would completely change how he approached certain battles.

There were several other improvements as well.

The armor’s AI system had been upgraded, providing a far more detailed interface and more comprehensive information while the armor was active. It could analyze more data, display additional combat information, and generally provide a much clearer overview of the battlefield.

Kael couldn’t wait any longer.

He immediately activated the nano bracelet.

The bracelet flashed.

A swarm of tiny metallic particles erupted from its surface and spread across his wrist.

Then they moved.

The nano particles raced across his body, flowing over his arms, shoulders, chest, legs, and head. They connected and locked together at an astonishing speed, transforming into layers of segmented armor.

In just over a second, Kael’s entire body had been encased.

His eyes widened.

"Wow."

He looked down at himself.

"The activation speed is more than twice as fast."

That was a massive improvement.

In an actual battle, even a fraction of a second could determine whether an attack landed or missed. Being able to activate his armor this quickly meant he could deploy it in situations where his previous version would have been too slow.

Kael turned toward the mirror.

The moment he saw his reflection, he stopped.

The armor was beautiful.

There was no other word for it.

The Spectre-X nano armor covered his body in sleek black segmented plating, each section fitting together with a sharp, angular design that gave the entire suit an intimidating appearance. Thin blue lines traced along the joints, chest, limbs, and helmet, creating a subtle glow that contrasted against the dark armor.

The helmet itself had a sharp, pointed crest jutting from the top, while a narrow blue visor stretched across the front, giving his face a cold, almost mechanical look.

Kael stared at his reflection for several seconds.

"This is good."

Very good.

He turned slightly from side to side, inspecting the armor from different angles.

The old Spectre-X had already been impressive, but this version felt like an entirely different piece of equipment.

Kael couldn’t help but feel eager to test it.

Especially in an actual battle.

Fortunately, he wouldn’t have to wait long.

His next Tower Trial would be the boss floor.

Kael’s eyes narrowed as a faint smile appeared beneath the helmet.

That would be the perfect place to test exactly what this new armor could do.
