Standing outside the private room, Leo Warren was shocked to hear the screams and pleas for mercy coming from within. He knew exactly what kind of men Westbound’s security guards were; anyone who worked there had to be a top performer in their field. Leo Warren fought the strong urge to peek inside. Just then, he saw Martin Quinn and Nadia Chapman approaching, and his jaw practically hit the floor. "Sir?" ’When did the young master become so kind-hearted? Helping others to this extent? He’s actually carrying Nadia Chapman! Good heavens, did hell just freeze over? This isn’t normal. Nadia Chapman hadn’t wanted to arrive like this either, but she had no choice. The drug still hadn’t worn off. She’d initially suggested having the female doctor carry her over, but who knew Mr. Quinn would claim she was too fat? He’d said the doctor wasn’t a weightlifter and couldn’t possibly carry someone so "pudgy." With no wheelchairs available, she was forced to make her entrance in this ridiculous pose.

"Is Seraphina in there? How are things inside?" Nadia Chapman asked with perfect composure, completely ignoring Leo Warren’s gobsmacked expression.

"Miss Sterling is inside," Leo Warren replied, lowering his head after recovering from his shock. "And for Miss Sterling, I’d say the situation is... excellent."

"Really? I’m finding it hard to believe a word anyone from Westbound says right now. You people have a history, you know," Nadia Chapman said, tilting her head. She desperately wanted to see what was happening inside for herself, but unfortunately, Mr. Quinn refused to cooperate. No matter how far she craned her neck, she couldn’t see a thing.

As the screams from inside grew fainter, Nadia Chapman started to feel a bit less worried. But she didn’t leave. ’I can’t relax until I see Seraphina with my own two eyes! She’s even younger than me, after all!’

Leo Warren stood frozen in place, utterly flustered. ’Sir, the person has been delivered. Can’t you put her down now? "Sir, I’ve brought a sofa over!" Leo Warren said, having moved with surprising speed. He was worried that if Martin Quinn stayed in that position any longer, he would attract an even larger crowd of gawkers. After working for his boss for so long, he knew exactly what he hated most.

He thought his resourcefulness would earn him praise from his boss. Instead, Martin Quinn shot him a razor-sharp glare that clearly said, ’Busybody!’

’Uh oh—the boss is angry! Why is he angry? Could it be... he doesn’t want to put her down? He wants to keep holding her?’ Leo Warren was so stunned by this guess that he was left speechless.

When Seraphina Sterling finally emerged from the private room, she was greeted by the sight of Martin Quinn holding Nadia Chapman. She shot Nadia a confused look. ’What’s going on here? Did you actually manage to tame this devil?’

Nadia Chapman felt tears of exasperation welling up. ’So I was worried for nothing. The first thing she does when she comes out is make fun of me!’
