SSS Awakening: Conquering Worlds with My Cupid System

Chapter 84: Love, Lust, and Want *

Silas opened his eyes, except, he wasn’t in his room. He sat peacefully within an endless meadow. The grass reached just below his knees, swaying gently beneath a warm breeze. Countless flowers bloomed around him, flowers he’d never seen before, each possessing colors that somehow didn’t belong in the human spectrum.

Beautiful birds flew overhead, some possessing four wings, others leaving trails of glowing feathers behind them. Butterflies larger than his hands fluttered lazily through the air, landing briefly upon his shoulders before continuing onward. Their songs were unlike anything he’d ever heard.

Every note carried warmth, comfort, and love. The air itself seemed alive. There was no violence here, no hatred or fear, only peace. Silas quietly watched the scenery, taking in everything despite how shocked he was. He instinctively knew that this was a vision, but still...

It was breathtaking. But he wasn’t looking at it. His gaze remained fixed ahead, on something... someone... sitting under an enormous tree in the distance. He couldn’t make out the figure, not because it was far away, but because his mind simply refused to process it.

His eyes insisted that someone was there, his heart screamed that what he was looking at was incomprehensibly beautiful, the most beautiful existence imaginable, but whenever he tried focusing, the image blurred.

His thoughts scattered and his memories became fog. He couldn’t see, he couldn’t understand, and his mind wasn’t capable of comprehending what stood before him.

"..."

For reasons he couldn’t explain, tears rolled down his cheeks not from sadness or happiness, but from something beyond both. The unseen yet seen figure slowly turned and Silas instinctively leaned forward.

"I..." He reached out. "I want..."

The vision trembled, the meadow distorted, the birds vanished, and the butterflies dissolved into countless glowing threads.

"No..."

The world cracked like glass. Silas desperately tried to remain, just one more second. The unseen figure seemed to smile. And then, for the briefest fraction of an instant, he saw them: Six magnificent wings, pure white, with every feather carrying intricate golden patterns that shimmered like woven threads under sunlight. They were beautiful, sacred, and perfect.

Before he could see anything more, everything shattered. Silas’s eyes snapped open, and he inhaled sharply. His glowing pink eyes reflected the ceiling above him. The threads surrounding his body slowly dissolved into countless particles of light. His heart continued beating calmly but one image remained burned into his mind. Those wings, white and threaded with gold.

He knew that whatever he had just witnessed, had been real.

He found himself back on his sofa... naked, with his standing firm, straight, and strong like a well-trained soldier.

***

Silas stood in the doorway of the bedroom, the frame cool against his palm, and he couldn’t move. The moonlight spilled through the curtains, silver and soft, painting the tangled bodies on the bed in shades of shadow and glow. Anna lay curled on her side, her dark hair fanned across the pillow, one hand resting where his chest had been. Chloe had buried her face against Anna’s shoulder, her white hair a stark contrast against Anna’s tanned skin, her breath slow and even. Gromda sprawled across the foot of the bed, taking up more space than the other two combined, her snoring a low rumble that vibrated through the floor .

They were beautiful. But it was more than that. Something had shifted inside him. The vision still burned behind his eyes, those six golden-threaded wings, that presence so immense and loving that his mind had refused to process it. He didn’t understand what he’d seen, he didn’t know why he’d been shown it, but he knew one thing with absolute certainty.

Whatever that was, wherever it came from, it had unlocked something in his chest, a door he hadn’t known existed. And behind it, everything he’d been too afraid to feel, too guarded to admit, too wounded to accept.

He loved them.

This was not the guarded love he’d carried for years, the careful, conditional love that expected betrayal at every turn. This was different. It was vast, bottomless, a well that had no end. It filled his chest until it ached, until his hands trembled, until his breath came shallow and quick. He thought he wouldn’t be able to feel this kind of love after his parents’ disappearance, but here he was...

His cock stood erect, not from the crude hunger of the body, but from the overwhelming fullness of his heart. Every part of him wanted to touch them, to hold them, to bury himself inside them and never leave. It wanted to give them everything he had, everything he was, everything he could become.

His eyes glowed, a deep, radiant pink that cast soft light across the room. He didn’t notice. He couldn’t see anything but them.

Chloe stirred. It was subtle, the barest shift of her breathing, the flutter of her eyelids against the pale skin of her face. She turned slightly, her arm stretching out across the empty space beside Anna. Her fingers found cool sheets instead of warm skin, and her eyes opened, hazy with sleep.

She saw him.

For a moment, neither of them moved. The moonlight caught the glow in his eyes, and she saw it, the depth, the longing, the love so vast it seemed to fill the entire room. Her breath caught. She didn’t look afraid. She looked... awed.

"Silas?"

Her voice was barely a whisper, rough with sleep, but it carried across the room like a bell. He didn’t answer. He couldn’t. His throat was too full, his chest too tight, his heart too loud. She sat up slowly, the sheets pooling around her waist, her white hair spilling over her bare shoulders. Her blue eyes searched his face, and whatever she found there made her expression soften into something impossibly tender.

"Come here," she said, and held out her hand.

He crossed the room on legs that didn’t feel like his own. The moonlight shifted as he moved, casting his shadow across the bed, across her. He reached the edge of the mattress and took her hand, and the contact sent a shiver through both of them.

"Your eyes," she murmured, her free hand rising to cup his cheek. Her thumb brushed across his cheekbone, gentle, reverent. "They’ve never glowed like this before."

"I saw something," he said, his voice hoarse. "A vision of a meadow, wings. Someone... someone so beautiful I couldn’t look at them directly."

Chloe’s hand stilled.

"And I woke up, and all I could think about was you. All of you." He swallowed hard, his eyes never leaving hers. "I love you, Chloe. I love Anna. I love Gromda. I love you in a way that terrifies me, because I don’t know what I’d do if I lost any of you. And I don’t know how this love developed so fast..."

Her eyes glistened. A single tear slipped down her cheek, catching the moonlight like a falling star.

"You won’t lose us," she whispered. "We’re yours, Silas. As long as you’ll have us."

He leaned down and kissed her, slow and deep, pouring everything he couldn’t say into the press of his lips against hers. She tasted like sleep and warmth and home. Her arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him down onto the bed, onto her, and he went willingly.

Behind them, Anna stirred. Then Gromda.

The moonlight watched over them, silent and patient, as the night stretched on, full of whispered words, tender touches, and the quiet, sacred language of love finally spoken aloud.
