Born Without Magic… So What?

Chapter 46: The Largest Slave Market

Then Arya once again sat at the front side of the horse carriage beside the driver.

After everything was ready, the group started moving.

The slaves were brought out from the underground prison and loaded back into the horse carriages under heavy guard.

Anyone who tried to slow down was immediately forced to move.

Soon...

The entire convoy left the camp.

A few hours later, they finally reached the kingdom’s border again.

After completing the necessary inspection, they crossed the border and returned to their own kingdom.

After traveling for some time...

They reached a place where the road split into three different paths.

The middle road led back to Sunlight Town.

The right road went toward another place.

But...

Their convoy didn’t take either of those roads.

Instead...

They turned toward the left road.

Without stopping, all the horse carriages continued moving along the left path toward their next destination.

In another side...

Miyuki checked out from the hotel.

Before she left, the little girl asked about Arya.

Miyuki smiled lightly and replied,

"He left early this morning because he had some work to do."

The little girl nodded without asking anything else.

After saying goodbye, Miyuki quietly left the hotel.

She walked until she reached a place where no one could see her.

After making sure the area was completely empty, she activated the ring once again.

In an instant, her appearance changed into that of an eighteen-year-old girl.

She also changed her hair into a dark green color.

Then she changed the color of her dress so it matched her hair, making her look like an ordinary young traveler.

After checking her surroundings one last time, she calmly walked toward the market area.

Soon, she reached the horse carriage station.

Many people were already waiting there.

Miyuki paid the travel fee and climbed onto one of the horse carriages.

She sat at the back with the other passengers.

Everyone there was traveling to Blue Town.

After waiting for a few minutes...

The horse carriage finally started moving.

It slowly left Sunlight Town behind.

After crossing the border area of Sunlight Town...

Miyuki’s journey finally began.

On another side...

Arya was also slowly going in the same direction where Miyuki was heading.

Because the biggest slave market was located there.

The entire convoy continued moving without stopping.

After a long journey, all the horse carriages finally reached the city’s border.

They passed through several checkpoints.

This time, the slaves had been brought from another kingdom.

The front horse carriage carried the official logo of that kingdom, and the same symbol was placed on every horse carriage behind it.

After seeing those marks, the guards immediately allowed them to enter without causing any trouble.

At last...

They finally reached Blue Town.

The city had earned that name because almost every house was painted blue.

According to the story Arya heard from the man driving the horse carriage beside him, the ruler of this city had loved the color blue a hundred years ago.

Before that time, this place had been nothing but a huge forest.

After building the city, he ordered every house to be painted blue.

Even the massive castle standing in the center of the city was completely blue.

That was how the city came to be known as Blue Town.

Arya quietly listened while observing the city through the horse carriage.

Soon...

They finally reached the place where they had to deliver the slaves.

It was a massive slave market.

Many people were already gathered there.

But the convoy didn’t stop.

Instead, they crossed the market and continued moving forward.

After traveling a little farther...

A huge mansion appeared before them.

The horse carriages entered through the large gate.

Inside the mansion was a wide garden filled with carefully maintained trees and flowers.

The horse carriages finally stopped there.

Beside the mansion stood a large building.

From the outside, it looked like an ordinary house.

But inside...

A hidden passage led deep underground.

Beneath it was a huge prison.

The guards took every slave down there.

One by one, all the slaves were locked inside the underground jail.

After everything was finished...

Arya’s original duty was over.

From that moment, he was free to go anywhere.

Most of the guards immediately prepared to return to the Sunlight area.

But Arya didn’t go back.

He decided to stay there.

He accepted another job.

His new duty was to guard the slave prison until every slave had been sold.

Until then...

He would remain there as one of the prison guards.

On another side...

Miyuki was traveling to Blue Town.

She was sitting on a horse carriage with many other passengers.

After a long journey, she finally reached the Blue Town gate.

The horse carriage slowly stopped outside the city.

From there, everyone had to continue on foot.

Miyuki got down from the carriage and quietly walked toward the city gate with the other travelers.

Several guards were standing there, checking every person before allowing them to enter.

When Miyuki reached the front, the guards briefly checked her before letting her pass.

But before entering the city, she had to pay the entry fee.

Because every town charged an entry fee for outsiders.

If you were a local resident of that town, you could enter for free.

Only adventurers were allowed to enter without paying.

Miyuki also had an Adventurer Card.

But she didn’t show it.

Because both Arya and Miyuki had made their Adventurer Cards using their real appearances.

Now both of them were using different forms.

That was why she couldn’t use her Adventurer Card.

If she showed it, the guards would immediately know that the face on the card didn’t match her current appearance.

They would become suspicious and start questioning her.

She didn’t want to take that risk.

So, without saying anything, Miyuki quietly paid the entry fee.

After the guards accepted the payment, they stepped aside.

Miyuki calmly walked through the massive city gate and finally entered Blue Town.

As she stepped inside, she quietly looked around.

The city was much larger than Sunlight Town, and many people were walking through the busy streets.

Without stopping...

She continued walking deeper into the city while carefully following Arya’s plan.
