Eternal Life: My Talent Increases by 1 Point Every Day

Chapter 349 - 221: Primordial Spirit Fruit

Where the two collided, a brilliant light erupted, as if an invisible energy was surging.

The Giant Rhino and the Flying Tiger were each knocked back several steps, but they didn’t give up. Instead, they quickly readjusted their stances and charged at each other again.

This battle was no longer just a contest of strength and speed, but also a clash of wisdom and will.

Fang Yue watched with rapt attention, his heart filled with shock. He had never seen such powerful Demon Beasts, much less such a ferocious battle.

Every collision, every swipe of a claw, made his heart pound.

He knew that a battle like this was a rare opportunity for observation. He could learn much from it, whether it was combat techniques or mental fortitude.

So, he focused intently on every detail, trying to commit it all to memory.

As the battle wore on, it reached its decisive moment.

The Giant Rhino and the Flying Tiger were both on edge, preparing to launch their final attacks. They knew this single blow would decide the victor, and with it, the fate of this territory.

In that instant, the entire valley seemed to freeze. The whistling wind, the swaying grass and trees—all sound vanished, leaving only the sound of the two Demon Beasts’ breathing echoing through the air.

Suddenly, the Giant Rhino roared, all its strength concentrating in its single horn as it charged fiercely at the Flying Tiger.

This was an attack with nothing held back; the Giant Rhino pinned all its hopes on this single strike.

The Flying Tiger’s eyes glinted with a cold light. It knew this was the Giant Rhino’s desperate, all-or-nothing strike, and it had to give its all to counter it.

And so, it too launched its final attack. Its wings spread, and like a bolt of lightning streaking across the sky, it met the Giant Rhino’s horn head-on.

"BOOM!"

Their attacks collided in mid-air, letting out a world-shaking boom.

A powerful wave of energy spread out from the point of impact. Wherever it passed, rocks shattered and trees snapped.

Immediately after, a violent gust of wind struck, making Fang Yue’s clothes whip and snap.

He looked up to see the Giant Rhino and the Flying Tiger lying on opposite sides of the valley, their bodies covered in wounds. They had clearly been severely injured.

But they hadn’t given up; they struggled to get up and attack each other again. It was obvious, however, that they had fought each other to a standstill, both grievously wounded.

A thought sparked in Fang Yue’s mind. He knew his chance had come.

He slowly walked forward, trying his best not to make any sound, lest he startle the two injured Demon Beasts.

As he drew closer, he could clearly feel the powerful auras radiating from the Giant Rhino and the Flying Tiger.

Even though they were seriously injured, their innate majesty and power still made Fang Yue’s heart tremble.

’If these two Demon Beasts were unharmed, their strength would be nothing to scoff at. They might even be comparable to a Shapeshifting Martial Artist.’

Just as he drew deeper into the valley, Fang Yue suddenly stopped. He sensed an even more mysterious and profound aura.

This aura didn’t come from the Giant Rhino or the Flying Tiger, but from the depths of the valley. It was like an invisible thread, gently tugging at Fang Yue’s mind and guiding him toward an unknown location.

Fang Yue hesitated for a moment, but ultimately decided to follow the aura’s guidance. Concealing his presence, he quietly slipped past the two Demon Beasts and entered the valley’s interior.

As Fang Yue went deeper, the surrounding scenery began to subtly change. The originally desolate valley gradually revealed a vibrant vitality, with lush vegetation, the songs of birds, and the fragrance of flowers.

A refreshing aroma filled the air, lifting his spirits.

Fang Yue couldn’t help but feel a sense of curiosity and anticipation.

’What exactly is this aura?’

’Could it be some kind of Heavenly Material and Earthly Treasure, or perhaps a Divine Soldier?’

Finally, after passing through a dense forest, Fang Yue arrived in a quiet valley. It was surrounded by mountains on all four sides, like a secluded paradise. And in the center of the valley grew a towering ancient tree.

The ancient tree was tall and straight, with lush branches and leaves. Its trunk was covered in the marks of time, as if it had witnessed the passage of countless ages. And upon its crown hung a single, crystal-clear fruit.

The fruit emitted a faint glow, blending in with its surroundings. It was as dazzling as a star, instantly captivating Fang Yue’s gaze.

Fang Yue’s heart skipped a beat; he knew this fruit was no ordinary object. He slowly walked forward, preparing to pick the mysterious fruit.

However, just as he was about to touch the fruit, a powerful aura suddenly erupted from the ancient tree.

Fang Yue felt a tremendous force violently shove him back, sending him flying through the air before he crashed heavily to the ground.

Greatly alarmed, he quickly scrambled to his feet to look at the ancient tree. The fruit on the tree was gone, and in its place was a mysterious creature radiating a golden light.

This creature resembled a monkey, but its entire body was covered in golden fur. Its eyes were bright and piercing, as if they could see through all illusions.

Fang Yue’s heart went cold. He knew this creature was no ordinary being. He guessed that the fruit was likely what this creature was guarding, and his reckless attempt to pick it had angered it.

Sure enough, the golden monkey let out a deafening roar and then lunged fiercely at Fang Yue.

"As expected, this Spirit Fruit actually has a guardian Spirit Beast. Those two Demon Beasts outside were just here to fight over the fruit!"

Fang Yue paused slightly, understanding immediately.

’However, this Spiritual Monkey’s strength is only about that of an Innate Grandmaster. It’s no match for me.’
