Knotting His Rejected Breeder

Alpha Daisy sat across from Sonia in the quiet room. Sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting soft patterns on the wooden floor.

They had been talking for a while, voices low, when Daisy’s phone rang sharp and sudden. She picked it up. Daniel’s voice came through, hurried and tense.

"Alpha Daisy, it’s Daniel from Bloodmoon."

Daisy’s face changed in an instant. The relaxed smile she wore moments ago disappeared. Her shoulders stiffened. Sonia watched her closely. Something was wrong. She could feel it in the air.

"Yeah, what do you want, Daniel?" Daisy asked.

Sonia leaned forward a little. Her hand rested on her rounded belly. The baby kicked softly, as if sensing the shift in the room.

"The alpha wants your warriors. Alpha Ferins has attacked, and it’s bad," Daniel explained.

Daisy’s eyes widened. She stood up fast. "I’ll be right there!"

Sonia rose too. Her heart beat quicker. "What is it?"

Daisy looked at her for a long moment. She breathed out slow. "Sonia, there’s something you need to know."

"Okay, what is it?" Sonia pressed, her voice tight.

"Your father has attacked Bloodmoon. He’s framing it in a way that looks like Ramon has you again," Daisy said.

Sonia’s stomach twisted. "But he doesn’t. I haven’t seen Ramon in over six months."

Daisy nodded. "He knows you’re not in Ramon’s pack. He’s just using it as an excuse to attack."

Sonia’s hands trembled. She pressed them against her belly. "But why? Why would my father do such a thing? First he doesn’t bother to find me. Wait, did he not bother to find me because he already knew where I was?"

Daisy stepped closer. "I’m not sure about that, Sonia. All I know is what I begged Ivy to keep from you, because I didn’t want you to be upset while pregnant."

Sonia shook her head. "I don’t understand. What did you keep from me? Tell me."

Daisy took a deep breath. "Fine, I’ll tell you. Lorena is not pregnant for Ramon."

Sonia blinked. "I already know that. Ivy told me. I just don’t understand what that has to do with my father."

The second the words left her mouth, a cold feeling spread through her chest. Dread rose fast. Her palms grew sweaty. She didn’t like where this was going.

Daisy’s voice stayed gentle. "That’s because your father is responsible for Lorena’s pregnancy."

Sonia’s mouth fell open. She stayed like that for several seconds. The words hit hard. They didn’t make sense at first. Then they did. Her legs felt weak. She stepped back until her knees touched the bed and sat down heavily.

"I know this is coming as a shock, but it’s the truth. Your father is the father of Lorena’s baby. They’ve been working together to bring Ramon down. Your father didn’t look for you because he stopped caring about you the second Ramon took you."

"No," Sonia whispered. Tears burned her eyes. "That’s not true. I look like my mother. My father can never hate me."

Daisy sat beside her. "That’s precisely why you disgust him. In his sick mind, you’ve been soiled by his enemy, therefore ruining the image of your mother he had through you. That in itself is unforgivable to him. Do you see why I didn’t want Ivy to tell you? I couldn’t stand to see you upset."

The tears came fast. Sonia couldn’t stop them. They rolled down her cheeks. Her shoulders shook. "You should have never told me then. You should have kept it from me, and taken it to the grave. How—" Her voice broke. "How can father allow his hate for Ramon project into me? Isn’t it the same thing Ramon did? How are they any different?"

Daisy wrapped an arm around her. "Shhh, don’t say that. Ramon has never hated you."

Sonia clung to her. "He does. Why did he never come find me then?"

"Didn’t he? You told him you didn’t want him around anymore."

Sonia wiped her face with the back of her hand. "Well I saw the letter that was intercepted. It was a plan between him and Lorena to ruin me!" She said through thick tears.

Daisy held her tighter. "With everything I told you, can you understand what that whole plot was about now? Nothing like that ever happened. It was all part of your father’s plan to see you married to Liam, so things get worse with Ramon. Ramon spent an entire month isolating. He’s too prideful to admit it, but it was because you broke his heart by rejecting him."

Sonia shook her head over and over. "No. That’s not true. If he cared, he could have come find me again. He never cared!" She cried.

Daisy rubbed her back gently. "Another thing I only know because I knew when he asked someone to follow Ivy the first time she found you here in this house. Ever since that day, Ramon has made it a mission to come check after you, at least twice every week."

Sonia’s heart beat fast. She remembered those nights. The feeling of being watched. The warmth that reminded her of his arms. Could it really have been him?

"Are you lying to me right now, Alpha Daisy? I don’t know who to believe. Please don’t lie to me," she clung on to her, afraid of hurting more than she already did.

Daisy looked her straight in the eyes. "I would never lie to you, Sonia. You’re too special to me to do that. Also, I really need to leave. Ramon needs my help. If I don’t get there on time, your father and your brothers may kill Ramon."

Sonia’s heart twisted at that thought. There was always a feeling somewhere deep in her heart that one day, her child would meet his father. She didn’t think she could bear it if that possibility was completely erased.

"I’m coming with you!" She declared.

Daisy shook her head. "You can’t do that, Sonia! You’re heavy. You have to stay locked in here until all this is over."

Sonia stood up fast. "No! Never! This is all tied to me, anyway. It was because of me that my mother died at birth. It’s because I look like my mother, my father grew an obsession for me. It’s also because I look like my mother, Ramon thought me the perfect candidate to sweep out of my father’s house. All this is tied to me, and I must end it. Please Alpha Daisy. Take me with you, please!" She begged, crying again.

Daisy looked at her for a long moment. She sighed. "Fine. But you have to stay glued to me at all times. From the way things sounded at Bloodmoon, it’s a tough battle."

Sonia nodded vigorously. She wiped her tears with the back of her hand. "Okay!"

Daisy stood up. "Let’s go!"

Together they left the room. Sonia’s steps felt heavy but determined. The baby kicked again. She placed her hand on her belly and whispered softly. "We’re going to see your father."
