After the class ended, the students began packing their bags and leaving the room. Adrian got up and approached Mr. Thompson, who was gathering his notes at the front desk.

"Teacher," Adrian called him out politely. "I wanted to ask you something."

"Is it about the incident this morning?" Mr Thompson asked without lifting his gaze.

"I have no idea what you’re talking about. I just wanted to learn something about primitive people."

Adrian remembered that Mr. Thompson had always been enthusiastic about primitive human history. And sure enough, as soon as Adrian mentioned primitive, Mr. Thompson’s eyes sparked.

"Primitive? What about it?"

"I was hoping you could tell me about easy, primitive ways to make a kiln. Is there a simple method for that?"

The professor looked up, surprised by the question.

"A kiln? That’s quite an unusual topic to ask a high school student. Why are you asking about that?"

Adrian paused for a moment, thinking quickly. He couldn’t tell the professor that he lived on a savage planet on a weekly basis. That would sound completely insane. Instead, he made up a believable lie.

"It’s for a realistic game I’m playing with some friends," Adrian explained with a sheepish smile. "We’re trying to make it as authentic as possible, so I thought asking an expert would help."

The professor laughed, shaking his head.

"Children and their games these days. And those developers... always coming up with the strangest ideas. But tell me which game it is?"

Oh right. This guy is a fanatic. There’s no way he wouldn’t want to join the ’game’.

For a moment, Adrian thought if there could be a way to get people from this Earth to the Savage one. If he could take the professor with him, then he would be a huge help to him.

Alas, it didn’t matter. He first had to get out of the corner he had trapped himself in.

"Um... It’s in closed beta testing, sir. So I can’t tell you anything about it, but as soon as it goes public, I’ll surely invite you to my tribe!"

"Tribe, huh? Is it some sort of squad system? I can’t wait to play it!"

Yeah, you won’t think like that for more than an hour after stepping into that world.

"Alright, let me explain what you would need," Mr. Thompson said, taking out a sheet of paper and began scribbling on it.

He spent the next few minutes describing the basic materials such as clay, sand, and a source of heat, and a simple method for building a basic kiln using a pit and stacked clay bricks or stones.

He emphasized the importance of proper ventilation and temperature control to avoid cracking the pottery prematurely.

"Since we don’t have much time right now, you can come to the staff room later and borrow a couple of books about the topic from me," the professor offered. "They should give you a good foundation for your little project."

"Thank you, Professor. This will really help."

As he left the classroom, Adrian felt a small sense of accomplishment. The information would be invaluable for improving the settlement’s pottery production.

He smiled to himself, already thinking about how he could implement the kiln once he returned to Savage Earth.

The rest of the classes passed in a blur as Adrian’s mind kept drifting back to the primitive world and the people waiting for him there.

The modern world felt more distant than ever, but the knowledge he was gaining here would make a real difference when he went back.

When the lunch bell rang, Adrian gathered his things, wondering what could Chad had possibly planned for him. However, he didn’t have to wait for long because as he walked out of the classroom, he felt a hand grab his shoulder.

Adrian turned around to see Chad standing there with his usual group of lackeys. Since he had beaten the shit out of him alone, he brought other punching bags to lighten the load a bit.

Naturally, when Chad brought his lackeys, people around him also noticed, but the one person who looked amused was Gina. Adrian glanced at her once before rolling his eyes.

"Where do you think you’re going, Skinny?" Chad asked in a baby voice, making everyone laugh.

"Did I hit you too hard, Chad? I mean, you clearly regressed in your age," Adrian scoffed. "What’s next? You’re gonna sing in goo-gaga?"

"Bitch! I told you, I want your lunch money," Chad said, his hand shooting towards his collar. "Hand it over, and maybe I won’t have to beat you up."

"Look, why don’t we take this matter elsewhere. You know, since there are cameras here, you’ll end up in trouble even if I didn’t beat the crap out of you."

Chad’s grin widened. He thought Adrian was suggesting taking it elsewhere so that he wouldn’t lose too much face. Besides, his suggestion about the cameras was also good.

Just because Dad cleans up after me doesn’t mean he doesn’t punish me afterwards. Hehe... I should take him to that restroom first.

With that, the group moved to one of the restrooms that was being repaired. Adrian was pushed inside first before the rest filed in.

"You two stay here," Chad instructed the last two of his guys, pointing at the door. "Do not let anyone enter the washroom till we get out."

The boys nodded and assumed their position as the bouncers. Chad then glared at the rest as if warning them to mind their own business. Once done, he stepped inside the room, excited to beat the crap out of Adrian.

However, his smile dropped the moment he looked inside. Out of the fifteen guys he had assembled, two were outside, and five of the remaining thirteen were on the ground, squirming in pain.

Meanwhile, there wasn’t a single scratch on Adrian. In fact, he looked bored just standing there.

"Is that it? None of you are going to fight me now?" Adrian asked, leaning against the stall door with his arms crossed.

"What the hell just happened here!?" Chad grumbled.
