Despite thinking this way, the three of them still tested it out once. They discovered that, just as Yamraiha had stated, navigating in their True Forms indeed failed to trigger traps and treasure chests.
Furthermore, movement speed in the True Form was locked to a fixed rate. If they genuinely tried to rely on it to navigate, there was no telling how long it would take.
This was especially problematic since the Random Labyrinth reset every three days.
The trio continued searching for a direction. A few hours later, they left the labyrinth, still feeling thoroughly unsatisfied.
The main issue was that they could no longer carry all their loot: a pile of Magic Stones, stored spring water, freezing spring water, weapons, and pills.
The quantity was substantial, but the overall value wasn't particularly high.
"This is really fun."
Ren Kougyoku sighed in admiration. "Especially if you play with friends, it would definitely be a blast."
Unfortunately, I don't have any friends.
But... Miss Scheherazade and Miss Yamraiha are both very nice.
Setting aside political stances, it wouldn't be bad for the three of us to become friends.
However, our factions in the Magi universe shouldn't affect our friendship. Ren Kougyoku felt pretty good about it.
"It is indeed very fascinating."
Scheherazade nodded slightly. "Compared to the tangible benefits of clearing a dungeon in our Magi world, the Random Labyrinth in this world feels much more like pure entertainment."
"To that esteemed adult, perhaps everything in our world seems laughable, holding less meaning than a simple game," Yamraiha chimed in.
The three fell silent for a moment before Scheherazade spoke up. "I'm going to summon him now. What about you two?"
"Let's do it together."
The trio exchanged glances, then silently chanted Lord of Illusions in their minds.
In an instant, a magnificent will descended.
No matter who it was, anyone feeling this presence would instantly comprehend the sheer grandeur of this will.
The entity on the other side was a God—a God in the absolute sense, a God even among the gods.
Ill Ilah's underlying mechanics were far too primitive; the Lord of Illusions' status easily eclipsed even Ill Ilah's.
Only a true World Will could evoke such a profound sensation.
"I've made my decision. I wish to become a resident of the Divine Court."
Scheherazade took a deep breath, finalizing her resolve.
"Me too."
Yamraiha quickly voiced her agreement.
"Me too!" Ren Kougyoku added nervously.
"I bestow upon you the Mark of the Mind. From this moment forth, you are residents of the Divine Court."
The majestic voice inscribed the information directly into their minds. A brand appeared on their divine souls, and simultaneously, they gained access to a wide array of functions.
Only after the great will departed did the three finally let out a breath of relief.
"That scared me to death." Ren Kougyoku patted her chest, a look of lingering fear on her face. "So much for being 'Acquired Gods'! In the face of a will like that, the Djinns—who are also Acquired Gods—are no different from us mere mortals!"
"In reality, there was never any difference. Don't forget, Lord Lucian said that the Djinns were originally just the patriarchs of the various species in Alma Torran," Yamraiha pointed out.
"Moreover... the Djinns are living beings just like us, only on a different level. However, Lord Lucian's Divine Avatar is the very world itself," Scheherazade added.
Having experienced the will of the Divine Avatar, the trio finally understood exactly what kind of entity the gentle, refined Lucian—who had acted as their tour guide—truly was.
To compare his casual form to his fully manifested state was like comparing a light bulb to the blazing sun.
The sheer contrast was so staggering that it took the three of them a while to calm down. Eventually, Scheherazade spoke up, "I've been away from the Reim Empire for quite some time now. I plan to head back for a bit."
Since her main body had been brought to this world, her clones back home had likely collapsed, which would undoubtedly cause mass panic.
"I should probably head back for a trip as well."
Yamraiha paused for a moment before asking, "By the way, are we allowed to tell others about the Divine Court?"
"The system functions include the relevant regulations for the Divine Court."
Scheherazade opened the rules via the interface and read, "We are allowed to reveal the existence of the Divine Court, but we cannot disclose its specific details."
Setting aside the other functions of the Divine Court, the mere fact that she had established a connection with Scheherazade and Ren Kougyoku was incredibly important for the Sindria Kingdom. It was imperative that she inform Sinbad.
Although she was a high-ranking executive, she wasn't the one who made the ultimate decisions. She could act as an intermediary to relay Sinbad's intentions to the other two when the time came.
All three of them were pacifists who hoped for world peace. With the Divine Court acting as a neutral platform, achieving that goal would be much faster.
Even in the original storyline, Sinbad had single-handedly established the Sindria Trading Company, facilitated the global economy, abolished slavery, and modernized the world.
The core of his strategy relied on allying with the Reim Empire, capturing Ren Kouen and the others, and assassinating Ren Gyokuen and her Al-Thamen operatives.
After wiping out the top-tier combatants of the world's major superpowers in one fell swoop, guiding global politics essentially became 'easy mode' for a master manipulator like Sinbad.
. . .
A few days quickly passed. Down on the 70th floor of the Dungeon, the two great Familias had fully recovered and reached peak condition.
The Empress had also completely mapped out the 71st floor and located the passage down to the 72nd floor.
It was worth mentioning that she had discovered a resource point on the 71st floor. It was located far off the standard exploration route, tucked away in an extremely peripheral zone.
There lay a massive cavern encompassing a sprawling swamp, guarded by a colossal beast with nine heads.
The Empress, being the first to discover it, named the monster the Nine-Headed Serpent, also known as the Hydra.
Finding the Hydra was a pleasant surprise for the Empress, as the beast's power wasn't much weaker than Hethonia's.
They had originally assumed that defeating Hethonia would be enough to push the two executives to Level 8, but both of them had fallen just short.
Alfia had managed to level up to Level 8 by grinding in the Colosseum, leaving Zald lacking in the necessary Excellia.
Consequently, the Empress immediately rallied their forces and launched a subjugation raid. After slaying the beast, they obtained its drop item: the Hydra's Gallbladder.
At the same time, they harvested the resource the Hydra had been guarding: a massive ore even harder than Orichalcum.
Thanks to this feat, Zald successfully leveled up to Level 8.
"We're just about ready. We can trigger the Juggernaut now."
The members of the two great Familias gathered together.
The preparation phase had taken longer than expected, but both Familias had experienced a significant power spike, giving them far more confidence in facing the Juggernaut.
After some deliberation, the leaders decided to spawn the Juggernaut on the 72nd floor and notified Lucian.
"Long time no see, Lucian."
Seeing Lucian appear, the Empress immediately ran over and threw her arms around him.
This time, the Empress had deliberately chosen not to wear her armor, allowing Lucian's face to sink directly into her soft bosom.
Feeling the soft, warm sensation, Lucian couldn't help but narrow his eyes in enjoyment.
"Isn't it about time we get down to business?"
While the others stood to the side chatting and laughing, Alfia was the only one to speak up.
"Don't be jealous. I can share him with you too, you know," the Empress teased with a grin.
"I'll pass." Alfia rolled her eyes before dragging Lucian out of the Empress's embrace.
Not looking the least bit regretful, the Empress simply smiled, drew her weapon, and planted it firmly into the ground.
"Then let's begin."
Her gaze turned deadly serious as she shifted into a defensive stance.
The others immediately dropped their playful banter and snapped into combat readiness.
Then—Alfia began to chant.
"Genos Angelus!!"
Accompanied by the resonant tolling bell of Limit Off, a deafening explosion bloomed outward.
The various winding corridors ahead were utterly pulverized, carving out a massive, gaping cavern.
What immediately followed was the violent trembling and agonizing wails of the Dungeon itself.
The Dungeon forcibly converged all of its resources. A pitch-black monster, resembling a terrifying dinosaur skeleton, manifested before their very eyes.
