Before she could finish her sentence, Zane exclaimed as if he’d seen a ghost.
"Huh? Why is it you again? Miss Morrison, why are you pretending to be Riane now?"
Cecilia was confused.
Zane continued, "Whether you act like a superstar or a cute girl, Mr. Lawrence won’t be interested. This is his restricted area, so you’d better leave now before he gets angry!"
She was speechless.
Fine. Perhaps she was being too forward.
Thinking this, she replied to the person who had emailed her anonymously.
[I’ve arrived at Madam Lawrence’s ward. Send me the location now.]
But after waiting for a while without a reply, she began to wonder if the person behind knew she hadn’t entered the ward.
She glanced at Zane, who was firmly guarding the door.
