Steven looked at the empty place, his eyebrows furrowed.
He recalled that Alex had suddenly sent out a distress signal a while ago when he was working. If Alex’s custom-made watch received a significant impact or was forcibly removed from his wrist, Steven would receive his location automatically.
It indicated that Alex was in danger.
But there was no sign of Alex anywhere, which made Steven even more worried.
Zane quickly checked around but found nothing unusual.
"Mr. Lawrence, we’ve checked everywhere. The young master isn’t here, but I found this."
He handed Steven Alex’s watch, which he had accidentally thrown away and left behind.
Just as Steven took the watch, his phone suddenly rang.
It was Sam, the Lawrence family’s butler.
Steven picked up the call, with Emma’s cheerful little face on the other end.
"Daddy! When will you be back? I miss you so much~"
