Bai Hanyun watched as Feng Xiyan crashed to the ground once again. Seeing his body covered in blood, her mind went blank.
Looking away from Feng Xiyan and the others, the masked man’s grip tightened around Bai Hanyun’s neck.
Struggling to breathe, Bai Hanyun felt her consciousness slipping away as darkness crept into her vision. Her gaze lingered on Feng Xiyan’s unmoving figure.
’Xiyan...’ Her eyes slowly closed.
Just as she almost lost consciousness, something crashed against the formation from the outside.

Hovering above the imperial palace, Gui Ying’s expression was so dark that none of his usual lazy, playful demeanor remained. Looking down at the nearly completed formation below, his eyes turned cold.
Gritting his teeth, he said coldly, "Tian Clan’s Ancestor... how dare you!"
Standing beneath the formation, the masked man looked up. When he saw the furious Gui Ying, he casually tossed Bai Hanyun aside.

The masked man raised his hand and removed his mask. It dissolved into golden particles as he lowered his hood, revealing a faint smile.
"That’s right. This Jin Empire belongs to my Tian Clan." After saying that, he then glanced at Jin Yu. "Why are you still here?"
Snapped back to his senses, Jin Yu cast him a glance before turning and leaving the imperial garden without hesitation. The chief eunuch hurried after him.
Seeing this, Gui Ying’s expression turned colder. "You think you can leave?"
With a snap of his fingers, more than a dozen golden orbs appeared around him. A second later, he pointed downward.
In an instant, golden beams shot out from the orbs, slamming into the formation with overwhelming force.

Hearing the explosions behind him, Jin Yu quickened his pace, not daring to linger.

Before the golden beams could reach him, he swung his sword horizontally. Following his movement, a streak of sword energy tore through the air, colliding with the golden beams.

The impact exploded violently, sending shockwaves across the imperial palace grounds.
A moment later, the Ancestor burst through the smoke, his blade aimed straight for Gui Ying’s heart.
Cold, murderous intent flickered across Gui Ying’s eyes as he drew his sword and met the Ancestor head-on.

Understanding that she was fine, Bai Hanyun nodded and forced herself to stand. Without wasting time, she took out a small jade bottle from her spatial ring, poured out a Yuan Pill, and swallowed it.
As her strength recovered, she rushed toward Feng Xiyan. "Xiyan!"

Feng Xiyan swallowed the pill while keeping his gaze on her.
Seeing color slowly return to his face, Bai Hanyun said, "Rest here. I will check on Feng Wu and the others."
"Mhm." Feng Xiyan hummed weakly in response.
After stabilizing Feng Xiyan’s condition, Bai Hanyun hurried to check on the others.
Seeing that their injuries were less severe compared to Feng Xiyan’s, she gave each of them a Yuan Pill and a Blood Replenishing Pill before returning to Feng Xiyan’s side.
Meanwhile, Gui Ying and the Tian Clan’s Ancestor had nearly leveled the imperial palace.

A moment later, a pair of golden eyes appeared in the sky, gazing down at him.
Gui Ying’s gaze met the golden eyes as he said angrily, "Heavenly Dao, you bastard! It’s you again!"
Ignoring Gui Ying, the golden eyes calmly swept across the scene below. When the Heavenly Dao noticed Feng Xiyan and Bai Hanyun, its gaze suddenly lit up.
