At the sound of Bai Hanyun’s footsteps, Feng Xiyan poured a cup of tea for her. Placing the cup of tea across him, Feng Xiyan looked up.
A gentle smile touched his lips when he said, "Fairy Bai, please have a seat."
However, the moment his eyes landed on her messy appearance, he fell silent.
Sitting down across from him, Bai Hanyun picked up the cup of tea and took a sip. "Mhm... not bad."
As she savored the warmth of the tea, Feng Xiyan hesitated, then spoke in a careful tone, "Fairy Bai, your clothes..."
Glancing down at herself, Bai Hanyun said lightly, "Oh, I don’t really know how to wear this kind of outfit, so I just tied it together."
After a moment of hesitation, Feng Xiyan asked cautiously, "Fairy Bai, please don’t take this the wrong way, but... would you like me to help fix it for you?"
When Bai Hanyun heard this, her eyes lit up instantly. Setting down the empty teacup, she nodded. "Sure."
Her ready acceptance left Feng Xiyan caught between happiness, worry, and embarrassment. With a mix of emotions filling his heart, he didn’t know how to react for a moment.
Not realizing that her quick answer left Feng Xiyan speechless, Bai Hanyun stood up from her seat, took hold of his wrist, and said with a bright smile, "Let’s go."
Before Feng Xiyan could even react, she pulled him toward the folding screen.
Letting go of his hand, Bai Hanyun looked at her clothes and calmly asked, "Where do we start?"
Staring at her speechlessly, the image of his Fairy Bai in Feng Xiyan’s mind slowly crumbled. Looking at the cute young lady before him, he had the strange feeling that he was not speaking with a fairy from Heaven, but with a younger sister next door.
Bai Hanyun waited for a moment, then looked up when Feng Xiyan still didn’t speak. Seeing him dazed, she waved her hand in front of his face and asked, "Feng Xiyan, what’s wrong?"

"Oh, alright." Following his instructions, Bai Hanyun lifted her arms.
Before fixing her clothes, Feng Xiyan took a long hairband from his small wardrobe and tied it around his eyes.
Once ready, he softly said, "Please forgive my offence."
With that, he reached out to undo the messy knot at Bai Hanyun’s waistband. As he loosened it, the tips of his ears instantly turned red.
While Feng Xiyan tried his best to remain calm as he adjusted her clothes, Bai Hanyun was focused on learning how to wear them properly.
After what felt like five long minutes, Feng Xiyan finally withdrew his hands and asked, "Fairy Bai, how is it? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere? You can tell me if I need to fix something."
Bai Hanyun turned around, moving her limbs and body briefly, then said, "It’s good. Thank you, Feng Xiyan."
Hearing her answer, Feng Xiyan removed the hairband and looked at her.
Now that her clothes were neatly arranged, he secretly let out a sigh of relief and thought, ’Fortunately, Fairy Bai didn’t notice anything. I must be careful not to let her know what’s on my mind.’
With that thought, Feng Xiyan said, "Fairy Bai, Xiyan has ordered the kitchen to prepare soup to warm your body. It should be served shortly."
When he said this, Bai Hanyun responded, "You are so considerate, Feng Xiyan. Thank you."
Afterward, the two left the inner room of the tent. They didn’t wait long before the generals arrived.
Before they could see them, a hurried voice came from outside.
"Great General, why are you summoning us so late at night? Has something urgent happened?"
Hearing the familiar voice, Bai Hanyun turned to the entrance and saw Zhan Qi walking in with the other generals following behind.
The moment Zhan Qi saw her sitting beside Feng Xiyan, he tripped and almost fell flat on his face.
"This... This..." Unable to form a complete sentence, Zhan Qi could only point at Bai Hanyun while staring wide-eyed at Feng Xiyan.
Waving at him, Bai Hanyun grinned and said, "Hi, General Zhan."
