Chapter 106: Lucky Bastard
Hearing these words from the man cleaning the saber in his hand, the group kneeling in front of him starts feeling the looming death above themselves, urging them to get up and get away from this place as soon as possible for as far as they can.
These thoughts however, only amount to that, mere thoughts, as not even a moment later, they felt the land around them being split into two, making them wonder whether the supreme being in front of them missed his attack on purpose, a clear sign that it is already too late for them.
As one of the sharper ones among this group starts to catch on what is happening, he immediately uses his hands to push the two segments of his body together hoping to extend the fire of his already dwindling life for just a single second more, a futile attempt that still made him end up being split into two clean parts, the attack that did so running from the top of his head all the way down to his nether regions.
Not even realizing that this happened to them as well, the other ones in this group also starts falling down the floor one by one, in the end only the young-looking man remaining, still seated as he returns to cleaning his treasured weapon, covered with a single tint of blood that splashes from when he attacked these people that are completely loyal to him.
’Useless bunch...’ he thought to himself in disdain as he stares as his reflection from the blood pool on the floor, nodding in satisfaction as he felt like his looks are way better than it was before.

"There’s no other movements from the oceans?" while this is happening, another person who is hailed as one of the greatest ascenders of the planet Earth asked as he looks into the horizon, seemingly not even paying attention towards the subordinate who has her head low as if feeling disappointed for reporting such news to her leader.
"Isn’t it something normal? It’s him that we’re talking about after all..." looking at the horizon with a smile on his face, a proud-looking young man said with a smile on his face, his words making the lady reporting something to the other young man, a more lethargic looking one, brighten up, acquiring the recognition of her leader’s close friend.
"Still, it’s such a pity, it is only now that we’re going to see the greater extent of his current power after all..." replying with a rare trace of anticipation in his voice, the lethargic young man replied as he raises his hand, reaching towards the sun hanging high in the skies, almost as if he’s trying to reach such an existence that is never meant for mortals like them to grasp.
