Chapter 186 - 2.66 Sora vs Pride (2) [Bonus Chapter new privi member]
Hades and Lord X watched from the secret realm as Sora continued to play his cat and mouse game with Pride.
"I thought you said he had two hours," the masked god complained.
"Well, I didn’t think it’d take this long." Hades said in frustration.
"What happens if Pride loses?"
"Then I send four princes after Sora’s kid. Eye for an eye they say." Hades laughed menacingly.
"You don’t think that kid couldn’t handle them all?"
"He’d struggle, but if they can’t beat a kid, what use are they to us?"
"What are you really planning?"
"I can’t tell you that, it wouldn’t be any fun. Do you have all of our subjects ready?" Hades asked while turning to over a thousand unconscious volunteers.
"Ready for transplants Master."

’I know what he’s doing and it’s annoying.’ Pride thought while continuing to apply pressure.
Sora finally reached the southern tip of Exteria, turned and grinned. The sun was shining brightly and it was over 110° F (43°C). He was sweating, but he shot another Divine Bombardment while teleporting directly at Pride, unleashing a barrage of martial arts infused with magic. Pride and Sora were locked in a fist fight under the desert heat with massive meteors flying from the sky.
’He doesn’t care if one hits him. Has he gone mad?’ Pride thought while continuing to exchange blows.
They continued to fight and Sora absorbed each punch without flinching much. He continued to pressure Pride, casting multiple spells and fighting recklessly.
’I just need to keep the intensity up for as long as possible and eventually he’ll break. He’ll surrender, he’s too prideful to let me kill him.’
He disappeared and reappeared as a giant rock almost crushed him and kicked Pride in the face, causing his metallic skin to ripple. He countered by forming a spike in his left hand and shoved it into Sora’s right side, piercing his SSS ranked armor. Sora focused his healing on the area, but he had Pride exactly where he wanted him.
"You lose." Sora laughed as he pointed to a thousands of meteors in the sky about 45 seconds away obliterating everything in sight.
"Are you mad? You’ll just kill us both then?"
"Why not? You can enjoy the Underworld and I’ll wait for my family in Paradise. Doesn’t bother me either way."
"I’ll shatter your soul right now."
"Tick tock." Sora taunted while continuously fighting through the pain, punching and kicking Pride, who couldn’t move with his hand lodged inside Sora.
The meteors continued to fly at an alarming rate and for the first time in a long time, Pride wished he had orders.
’What the fuck do I do? I don’t want to go to the Underworld Hades will shatter my fucking soul. Do I really have to follow Sora’s rules?’
’Sealing magic activated. Form a party seal with the Demon Sin - Pride under the following conditions. He cannot think to betray or harm anyone in the party or his soul will shatter. He will be an equal member of the party and live in the mansion. His experience will be shared with me like everyone else. All money he earns through dungeon clearing or other means will be awarded to him or split between the people he worked with. He is to be kind to everyone in the party and work with Eris and follow all orders from Sora, Brie, Levi, Celeste, Jubelle, Leila, Sasha, Levi and Eris. In the event he wishes to leave the party, he will be sent directly to Hades for Judgement.’ Sora thought as he realized he was losing more blood than he thought.
’Also add the additional conditions that Sasha Valencia has, without the ability to leave the party freely."
Pride looked up while listening to the conditions. The meteors would strike within the next 10 seconds and it looked like Sora wasn’t going to die before that. He flinched as the extra set of conditions played with another ask for an agree or disagree option.

Emery was sitting with Koda and Kory on his lap, petting them nervously and gently. Emma was on Shawn’s lap, nervously tapping her hands on her knees. 9 hours had passed and it was the middle of the night. No one could sleep and no one felt like talking much. They tried watching a movie in their theater room, played games with the kids, but nothing seemed to work.
"Is this ever going to end?" Diana asked.
"You would be the only one to know and it’s strange that just because Xander created a portal, you can’t see the future." Connor mentioned.
"It’s because they’re both too strong for her to see. That vision would probably kill her. I don’t think the non gods in the room truly understand the raw power between the two of them fighting right now. I consider myself very powerful and I couldn’t beat Sora myself, even without his time magic. On the other hand, Pride is also very talented and will be a difficult matchup for Sora because of his new powers. He can self-heal now as well."
"Does Sora know?!" Brie shrieked in fear.
"I’m sure he’s found out." Eris smiled.
"Wait, if you beat me, are you saying I couldn’t beat Pride?" Xander asked.
"Not sure. I only beat you because I caught you off guard. Pride knows my spells and he knows what your dad can do. You have the benefit of surprise against anyone you face because Hades himself doesn’t know what you are capable of. I’m sure he has something planned for you soon, so be ready to fight." Eris said calmly.

Pride was quickly weighing his choices and was surprised at all the conditions added to the seal. He didn’t expect Sora to treat him as an equal party member and the meteors were getting dangerously close.
Pride quickly removed his hand from Sora’s body, as Sora left himself completely defenseless as the meteors were about 5000 feet away.
"I fucking accept your damn conditions stop your fucking spell!"
’Release.’
A dust storm blew in the light breeze and Sora used his Divine Protection on Pride and himself.
"I think we should probably teleport to somewhere more comfortable for you." Sora said politely, blinking quickly as Pride disappeared right after he suggested it.
He tracked him via his party seal and appeared next to him. Pride was sitting where the battle originally started with rain drops sprinkling and evaporating on his hot metallic skin. The area was completely destroyed, but Sora sat next to him, ready to finally find out what his nemesis turned ally had on his mind.
