Pride smirked, his usual smug arrogance brewing from him like this was something he’d been waiting for a long time for. Fortunately, everyone was so distracted in the ceremony they failed to realize the powered up version of Pride. Azazel clearly juiced him with a lot of the stolen lifeforce from their planet wipes.

"I was ordered to send the princes to kill as many at the wedding as we could, but I told them I’d handle it. I won’t make a scene if you won’t use that bullshit time trick of yours and fight me like a man."

"I could just have my kid kick your ass, but let’s raise the stakes. Your little Lord is dead and you hate weak people. He died because he was tricked by a smarter woman than the one he chose to sleep with. Doesn’t it piss you off that you’re being ordered around like a little errand boy." Sora taunted.

"Oh, that’s right, that’s all you do isn’t it. Just following orders is what you always say, even when you try to kill my future wife?"

"If I wanted her dead, she would be dead. Same with that Uthra. Why were you so pathetically weak and easy to trick?" Pride shot back.

"You could have protected her, but you just were a little SSS half-god crybaby. What is your answer, I’m getting sick of your fucking mouth."

"You vs me. You win, shatter my soul. I win, you join my party and form a party seal with just two conditions: Betray or even think of betraying someone, your soul goes poof. Or, Hades can get really pissed you told him to fuck off like you probably told someone to today, because I’m certain this wedding should be invaded by the princes by now."

"Ha, you beat me. Funny. We have a deal." Pride said.

"You must have a cute little foresight user now. I wonder which one it could be. Probably your son’s little girlfriend huh?"

Sora was pissed at himself. He now realized how obvious it was who would be the new oracle in his party because his family was in Paradise for so long and Xander was nearing 15 years old.

"Which is exactly why I said I could let him kick your ass, but we have unfinished business." He was quick witted enough to respond.

"Xander, what we talked about. Now please."

Xander teleported, grabbed Pride and appeared 200 yards behind the crowd, in the opposite direction everyone was looking.

"What the fuck, going back on your word already? Pathetic." Pride said while going to choke Sora.

Sora grabbed his hand firmly. "We need a portal to go fight somewhere where we can fight without limitations. How fucking dumb are you? Do you really just blindly follow orders like a puppet?"

’Guess I’m not the only one stronger. It will make shattering his soul more satisfying.’ Pride thought confidently.

Xander created the portal to an unknown, large, wide open location, far from any signs of life.

"No one comes Xander. Make sure of it. If they do, you know what to do." Sora said sternly.

"Understood. Pride, I’ll see you with one of these soon." Xander smirked while flashing the seal.

"Time to come to the winning side." He added.

Pride’s laugh bellowed so loudly that everyone turned, catching a glimpse of Sora and Pride walking through a portal that Xander quickly closed.

"Auntie Celeste, can you please send a message to everyone here that no one is to interfere and if they do, I will rewind time and ensure they cannot interfere with the match. The deal is simple. If Pride wins, he shatters my father’s soul. If dad wins, Pride joins our party with two conditions. If he thinks of hurting or betraying any of us or actually follows through on either of those, his soul will immediately shatter."

"Ok, thanks Xander." Celeste said calmly.

"Saviors. I have an important announcement. Sasha and Levi, do you want to know or would you like to go to your boat for your honeymoon?"

"Sasha, it’s up to you and Brie. Brie and I both almost died to that man. I will gladly shatter his soul when Sora has beaten him to a pulp."

Brie and Sasha looked at each other and frowned.

"Please don’t, Levi. Look at how nervous Eris has been since Diana’s vision. She risked stepping out in public knowing what might happen. Diana had a second vision that the princes also invaded your wedding because Hades’ shattered Pride’s soul for refusing to attack here today. If he wanted us dead, we would be dead. Sasha, I know it’s hard to hear that, but I trust my husband and Xander will fight the princes after." Brie admitted with a small smile and a few silver tears falling from her face.

Xander appeared and hugged his mother.

"Aw, don’t sweat it mom. I can take those four losers. Pride is really big now though. He’s like 17 foot tall and even more muscular and even thicker and shifty, whatever that metallic reflective coating he has on him is. He’d be really useful to have in our party." Xander grinned.

Eris teleported over. "He hates weak people and he only follows orders. When Gluttony got his ass kicked by you during the ambush on Julius, he laughed at him and called him fucking Pathethic in front of Azazel and Helen. His name is Pride... he is the demon sin who has no master. He needs someone like Sora to push him in the right direction and Hades will absolutely make a mistake for us. He’s probably already fuming I’m alive and with your group."

"Ok, I trust my best friend and her husband. Let’s just hope Sora kicks his ass. What’s the catch though? Sora had to give something up to avoid any conflict at my wedding?" She asked with a kind smile.

"He can’t use his time magic." Xander said calmly.

"Well everyone, please go have fun and let’s start enjoying this reception! There is nothing to worry about, Sora had to step away for a moment. He should be back shortly!" Celeste said cheerfully.

"Is everything really ok?" Koda asked.

"Yes, everything will be fine. Ignis said politely. "Sorry we could not be there, but with Scarlet, it would have been a handful!" He laughed.

"Seriously everyone, please do not worry. We all joined their party because of the man we trust to lead us into battle and save the world."

"Diana, do you already know what happens?" Kory asked, licking his paw.

"No, because Xander was involved and opened the portal. I’m sure Sora will win though!"

"Damn! That would have been nice. Oh well. Thank you for helping out with this Xander, make sure you and Hope have plenty of food, healing and whatever capsules you need ok?" Brie said while kissing his forehead.
