The food in Jiang Si’s dimension was more than enough to temporarily satiate the Mammoth.

For now, her priority was to pacify the Mammoth.

After all, it was incredibly powerful. Its hide was tough, and it could even ignore her Barriers with an overwhelming force that was impossible to block.

Jiang Si would probably have to use her true power to be able to kill it.

But doing so would consume a massive amount of her energy.

After eating one delicious thing after another, the Mammoth’s frenzied demeanor suddenly seemed to turn docile.

When it finished eating, it simply stared at Jiang Si with its big, round eyes, as if to say, ’Hurry up and give me more.’

Besides being startled, the reason for its frenzy was likely the extreme cold. The weather made it impossible to find enough food, especially given its massive appetite.

Every little bit Jiang Si fed it was a little bit less food in her dimension.

A Mammoth could weigh up to twenty tons, and a single meal could consist of several tons of food.

Watching this insatiable creature demand more food, Jiang Si grew anxious. ’How am I going to get back the supplies that were teleported away by the black hole?’

If this Mammoth decided to stick with her, where on earth was she supposed to find enough food for it?

Even with her dimension’s farming capabilities, she couldn’t possibly keep up with its rate of consumption.

Jiang Si started scheming. She had to figure out a way to get rid of this Mammoth, perhaps by opening a black hole and teleporting it away directly.

But that was another headache. To get the Mammoth teleported away by a black hole, she’d have to make it walk in on its own.

Judging by how shamelessly it was acting, the Mammoth was clearly quite intelligent. The chances of getting it to charge into the portal with perfect accuracy were slim to none.

Fortunately, with a full belly, the Mammoth had finally settled down. It even began swinging its massive trunk, sniffing around under the snow.

Only then did Jiang Si have a moment to check on the others.

Huang Lijuan and the others had been scared witless by the sudden appearance of the Mammoth and the sight of Jiang Linhai’s octopus body.

Just as they were snapping out of it, Qin Shen transformed from a massive White Tiger back into a human, right before their very eyes.

The snow wolf, which had been cowering on the ground, not daring to flee, shrank back even further when Qin Shen shot it a cold glance, its head drooping low.

Jiang Si calmly conjured a screen to shield Qin Shen’s body from view and handed him some clothes to wear.

Huang Lijuan and the others looked on, their eyes practically bulging out of their sockets in shock.

Holy shit!

’Everyone else has mutated, but not us?’

’This is so fucking unfair!’

They only dared to grumble internally, their faces all fixed in expressions of the utmost respect.

’Maybe these people are actually immortals sent to save the world.’

’They saw that humanity was on the brink of extinction and have only just now shown up to save us.’

Their imaginations ran wild, and a sudden, secret joy bloomed within them. ’If we stick with them, does that mean we’ll have a good life from now on?!’

Mei Na gradually regained consciousness. The moment she saw Kilton clearly, her eyes reddened. "Brother! Thank God, you’re safe!"

Kilton touched her forehead and found it was still burning up; she had a high fever.

The others were in the same state. If it weren’t for the recent scare keeping their adrenaline up, they would have been sitting listlessly on the ground as well.

If they let the fevers run their course, their conditions would only worsen.

Kilton looked at Jiang Si pleadingly. "Miss Jiang, do you have any medicine?"

Jiang Si had medicine in her dimension; there was no need for Qin Shen to expend his energy saving them.

However, she couldn’t guarantee the medicine would be a panacea for everyone.

After all, everyone’s body was different.

She took the medicine out of her dimension and distributed it to them.

Kilton quickly conjured a ball of water for Mei Na to drink with the medicine. When the others saw that Kilton had a superpower too, no one was particularly surprised anymore.

The potent medicine had a strong fever-reducing effect, but there was still a chance of relapse.

Everyone did their best to keep their fevers from returning, constantly boiling and drinking hot water in an attempt to flush the virus from their systems.

Once the danger had completely passed, Jiang Si put on a headlamp and entered the acorn-fed ham storage facility below ground.

As far as the eye could see, there were rows upon rows of hams.

There were at least ten thousand of them.

Jiang Si was delighted. With a wave of her hand, all the hams vanished into her dimension.

The adjacent building, meanwhile, seemed to be a warehouse, possibly a granary.

Not wanting to pass it up, Jiang Si reached her hand through an opening, and all of its contents were promptly transferred into her dimension.

It was all wheat, corn, rice, potatoes, and sweet potatoes—over twenty tons in total.

Although it was only enough for a few meals for the Mammoth, Jiang Si was still thrilled.

When she returned to the surface, she found the Mammoth had cleared away a patch of snow and was grazing on the pasture grass beneath.
