Apocalypse Hoarder: I Have Billions in Supplies

So many unbelievable things happened in this apocalypse. Jiang Si watched for a few moments before composing herself and saying to the others, "These Mammoths have some kind of blocking power. It’s even stronger than my Barrier Space. The helicopter can’t get through."

Jiang Si was already the strongest superpower user among them, yet even she couldn’t break through the Mammoths’ power.

The thought of his distant sister made Kilton’s heart pound with panic.

Qin Shen looked at the Mammoths on the ground, whose movements seemed world-shatteringly powerful, and said to Jiang Si, "What if we try to fly around them?"

Jiang Si nodded. "Let’s try."

Her Barrier Space could only detect things within a range of about six hundred meters. It was possible the obstruction only extended for that same six-hundred-meter distance.

But Qin Shen flew as far away from the herd of Mammoths as he could, until they were completely out of sight. It was as if the world had been cleaved in two; they just couldn’t cross.

Qin Shen and the others landed the helicopter and tried to use tools to dig a tunnel to the other side, but that didn’t work either.

This probably wasn’t caused by the Mammoths.

What Jiang Si feared, however, was that Shen Baoying and her group were on the other side and had run right into the Mammoths.

The more Jiang Si thought about it, the more panicked she became. Meanwhile, Kilton clenched his fists, made up his mind, and said to Jiang Si, "Please, take the energy stone from my body! Perhaps if you obtain my energy stone, you’ll be able to open a black hole portal immediately."

This time, Jiang Si didn’t hesitate. Finding Shen Baoying and the others was too urgent to delay.

Jiang Si reached out and touched Kilton. A golden light flashed, and the energy stone inside Kilton’s body quickly coalesced into a sphere and was absorbed into Jiang Si’s body.

Jiang Si steeled herself for the pain, but surprisingly, she felt none. Perhaps it was because it was only one energy stone, or maybe her body could already handle more. It was absorbed directly, without any discomfort.

Jiang Si immediately tested her newly acquired ability. With a single thought, a black, space-rending slit appeared before everyone’s eyes.

Everyone’s faces lit up with joyful surprise.

Jiang Si, however, furrowed her brow. She hadn’t yet learned how to control the black hole teleportation.

She had no idea where this rift would send them.

’But how will we know the result if we don’t try?’

The group stepped into the black hole together. A wave of dizziness washed over them, and when they opened their eyes, they were right at the feet of the Mammoths.

Suddenly, some mouse-like creatures appeared underfoot, startling the Mammoth herd. The giants lifted their forelegs and stomped them into paste.

Qin Shen reacted fastest, immediately reverting to his original form. He carried Jiang Si and the others, leaping and speeding away.

The Mammoths were huge and numerous. Seeing another foot about to come crashing down, Jiang Si hastily opened a second black hole portal.

In the nick of time, Qin Shen leaped into the black hole. The group was teleported again, this time to the edge of a cliff. They were just inches away from falling into a snake pit below.

Qin Shen slammed on the brakes and backed away. Everyone clutched their chests, their hearts still pounding with fear. Jiang Si knitted her brow and said with lingering dread, "The Mammoths’ power can break right through my Barrier Space."

She had activated her Barrier Space the moment they landed, but it had been utterly useless against the Mammoths. It was horrifying to imagine what would happen to anyone else who couldn’t get away from them.

The more Jiang Si thought about it, the more her panic grew. She tried to use the black hole teleportation again.

But outrageously, she ran into the same problem Kilton had: the black hole teleportation was lagging and wouldn’t work.

’What the hell, there’s no rhyme or reason to it! This is so frustrating!’

Jiang Si stomped her foot twice in frustration, then took the helicopter out of her storage space again. They had already flown this far from the other side; they might as well keep flying.

They boarded the helicopter, but after a short while, they ran into another barrier wall, identical to the first one.

With her black hole teleportation unusable, Jiang Si decided they should rest in place for now. She would try to see if she could control Mei Na again.

But it was still no use.

Jiang Si was about to start cursing. She slammed her fist hard against the barrier wall—and her hand suddenly went right through.

For a moment, Jiang Si and the others were all stunned speechless.

They had all tried just a moment ago, and it was impossible to pass. But when Jiang Si slammed her fist into it, she went through!

The others tentatively reached out to touch it, and their hands passed through smoothly as well.

Jiang Si breathed a sigh of relief, then said happily, "Quick, get on the helicopter."

But her happiness didn’t last a second. The helicopter Jiang Si had just taken out of her storage space exploded on the spot with a loud BANG.

Fortunately, Jiang Si’s Barrier Space was active, or they would have been caught in the blast.

Jiang Si’s eyes darkened. She reached her hand forward and felt it—another Barrier.

If this wasn’t someone fucking with them, Jiang Si didn’t know what was.
