Laina screamed, struggling. "Don’t! No!"

But she was too slow. Jiang Si wouldn’t give her another chance, not even one to keep controlling Kilton.

The moment all of Laina’s superpowers were transferred to Jiang Si, Jiang Si immediately gained the ability to control Kilton’s black hole.

With a single thought, the black hole that had been devouring everything around it stopped.

But the base they were in had been destroyed, reduced to a pile of rubble. Only the foundation remained, not yet sucked into the black hole.

The moment her superpowers were transferred, Laina’s youthful face visibly withered.

Her arrogant attitude toward Jiang Si was gone. She pleaded, "I will be your most loyal servant! I beg you, forgive me! Grant me a Superpower Stone!"

The words had barely left her lips when Kilton, his eyes scarlet, began smashing his fists into Laina’s face, one heavy blow after another.

Laina struggled feebly before Kilton beat her to death.

Jiang Si felt no sympathy for the vicious woman who had deluded herself into thinking she could become a god in this apocalypse. All she wanted now was to find out where the others were.

Jiang Si looked coldly at Kilton. "Where are my parents?"

Having killed Laina Holy Mother, Kilton collapsed to his knees, sobbing. "I don’t know, I really don’t know! The black hole can send people anywhere! I can’t find them... I lost control."

Jiang Si’s brow furrowed tightly. She grabbed Kilton by the neck. "Then you’ll find them. Search one place at a time!"

Kilton wanted to search, but his black hole had a long cooldown period after each use.

Besides, there were so many places. How could he possibly search them all?

Jiang Si nearly flew into a rage. ’If only I had tried harder to stop them from coming with me, maybe this wouldn’t have happened.’

Qin Shen rushed over and grabbed her. "Calm down. We can start looking now. We’ll find them."

As Jiang Si calmed down a bit, she realized that both Qin Shen’s and Jiang Linhai’s superpowers were locked.

She made a small effort using Laina Holy Mother’s power, and both Qin Shen’s and Jiang Linhai’s superpowers were restored.

Jiang Si turned back to Kilton. "If I give you two more Superpower Stones, can you boost your power enough to open the black hole again?"

Kilton didn’t know. To control his power, Laina Holy Mother had never given him any extra Superpower Stones.

He shook his head, but Jiang Si, not caring if it would work, separated two Superpower Stones from her body and handed them to him.

Kilton took one of them first.

After all, not everyone was a natural container for Superpower Stones like Jiang Si.

If he died suddenly from the power overload, he would never find his sister.

Kilton cautiously swallowed one Superpower Stone.

The resulting surge of energy was like an atomic bomb detonating inside his body.

He braced himself for excruciating pain, but the moment Jiang Si raised her hand, a gentle force washed over him and erased his agony.

Kilton looked up in astonishment. He immediately tried to open the black hole to find the others, but instead of the portal, he found he could now condense water out of thin air.

He had gained a new superpower.

Seeing that he had failed to open the black hole, Jiang Si grew frantic and had him swallow the other Superpower Stone.

This time, however, Kilton still didn’t gain the ability to open the black hole. Instead, his new power was enhanced, growing from the ability to form a small ball of water to being able to lift the ocean itself.

Jiang Si couldn’t give away any more of the Superpower Stones within her. She bit her lip. ’That prison from before,’ she thought, ’it was full of superpower users.’

But Kilton said, "The prison and the Holy Mother Base are connected. The black hole created a spatial distortion when it brought you here. Now, they’ve all been swept away by it to some other place."

He added worriedly, "Maybe they’re with my sister, or maybe they’re separated!" Then, he pleaded with frantic hope, "I pray they’re separated!"

His sister was also a superpower user. As long as she didn’t run into any other mutated monsters, he believed she was strong enough to survive and wait for him to find her.

The more he spoke, the more frantic Jiang Si became. Suddenly, Qin Shen said, "Check the locator."

Jiang Si snapped out of her daze and quickly checked it.

But the locator showed nothing, and even Qin Shen’s sensitive nose couldn’t detect anything.

A panicked despair washed over Jiang Si.

’I’ve led everyone into danger again.’

Jiang Linhai patted her shoulder, his expression resolute. "We’ll take the helicopter and search. We’ll find them."

Finally, Jiang Si pulled herself together and took a helicopter out of her spatial inventory.
