Qin Shen told Jiang Si to stand back, then brought the hard axe down heavily on the barrier.

The barrier rippled like water, flinging him against the wall. The axe itself cracked, a testament to just how powerful the barrier was.

Jiang Si was overjoyed. She retracted the barrier with a thought and hurried over to check on Qin Shen.

"Are you okay?"

Qin Shen shook his head. "I’m fine."

Jiang Si breathed a sigh of relief. She and Qin Shen left the room, where Jiang Linhai, seeing she was awake, rushed over to look her up and down. "How are you? Do you still feel sick?"

Jiang Si shook her head. Jiang Linhai immediately called out to Shen Baoying, "Honey, our daughter’s awake!"

Hearing this, the others hurried over as well.

Everyone smiled when they saw Jiang Si was awake. Shen Baoying asked her a few questions, then quickly said, "I’ll go make some food. I’ll make your favorite seafood congee."

And Jiang Si was, in fact, hungry.

A pot of steaming hot congee was brought out, and everyone gathered around her as she ate.

After leisurely finishing the congee Shen Baoying had made, the group moved to the main hall. Over the cheesecake and thick coffee Shen Baoying served, Jiang Linhai finally placed the remaining two energy stones on the table.

"Sisi, what do you think we should do with these?"

They had originally thought that if an energy stone chose one of them, they could just grit their teeth and endure it.

Who would have thought that if they couldn’t handle it, Jiang Si would have to absorb the energy and slowly digest it herself?

It was like passing the pain directly on to her.

Jiang Si thought for a moment. "Go ahead and choose. If you can’t endure it, I’ll be here."

The two remaining energy stones were the Snow Attribute and the Invisibility ability.

At Jiang Si’s urging, Jiang Chengwu touched a Superpower Stone, but it didn’t react.

Everyone’s gazes then shifted to Lu Zhifeng and Niu Niu.

Lu Zhifeng immediately pulled Niu Niu back, waving his hands. "No, we’re fine. We don’t need one."

Niu Niu’s eyes were filled with deep disappointment.

At that moment, however, Bobby picked up the energy stone and held it out to Niu Niu.

He could see that Niu Niu wanted the energy stone and simply wanted to give it to her.

Niu Niu looked pleasantly surprised, but she shook her head. "I can’t touch it."

Jiang Si smiled. "Bobby wants you to try, so go ahead."

Niu Niu glanced at Lu Zhifeng, then at Jiang Si’s encouraging eyes, and finally, slowly, extended a trembling hand.

The moment her hand touched the Superpower Stone, it reacted, burrowing into her body.

Just like the others, Niu Niu was in agony.

The instant she collapsed, Bobby caught her, his movements even faster than Lu Zhifeng’s.

Jiang Si reached out and took Niu Niu’s hand. This Superpower Stone was residing relatively stably within Niu Niu’s body. As Jiang Si channeled her energy, Niu Niu’s pain gradually subsided.

Lu Zhifeng had been tense and terrified. Seeing the color return to Niu Niu’s face, he let out a deep sigh of relief.

’Thank goodness Niu Niu is okay.’

Jiang Si’s gaze fell on Bobby’s face, and she reached out to touch his cheek.

A blissful smile slowly spread across Bobby’s face. At the same time, the others stared in astonishment as the burns on his face and body began to heal at a visible rate.

Soon, the skin on his face was as smooth as before, as exquisitely handsome as an angel’s.

Jiang Si withdrew her hand and smiled. ’Absorbing more energy stones really is useful after all.’

There was still one energy stone left. Jiang Si had Lu Zhifeng try it.

Who wouldn’t want more power? Lu Zhifeng was tempted as well, and finally extended his hand.

But this energy stone did not choose him.

A sudden thought struck Jiang Si. She looked at Qin Shen. "You try."

’Maybe Qin Shen can absorb multiple Superpower Stones, just like me. After all, he already has a healing ability and a transformation skill.’

Qin Shen picked up the Superpower Stone. A flash of light appeared, and the stone was instantly absorbed.

Jiang Si immediately prepared to help Qin Shen absorb the Superpower Stone.

Unexpectedly, Qin Shen was completely fine.

He had absorbed it with ease.

Jiang Si was a little baffled. "How did you manage to not pass out?"

Qin Shen said, "Perhaps everyone has a different threshold for pain."

The others were thrilled too. "He can make it snow!"

They had never seen another superpower user with Snow Control before.

Qin Shen stood before the window and waved his hand. A flurry of snowflakes, as if with a mind of their own, rapidly piled up into a high wall, which then gradually began to curve into an arch.

Shen Baoying covered her mouth and gasped, "Is he actually building a giant snow house?"

Jiang Si watched Qin Shen’s tall figure and nodded. "It looks like it."

’As long as he has enough energy,’ she thought.

Jiang Si went to stand with Qin Shen, placing a hand on his arm. The moment her energy flowed into him, the snowfall intensified, swirling faster as the temperature plummeted.

The cold air caused the snow to freeze solid, and the layers of the snow structure finally sealed together seamlessly.

Everyone looked out the window, utterly amazed.

With all these layers of defense, they couldn’t believe any zombie would be able to get in.

However, being completely unable to see what was happening outside wasn’t ideal. The group dug a hole at the top of the snow wall, which would also make it convenient for Jiang Si to fly out on Vulture.

Zhang Aihua had been watching Jiang Si’s group. When he saw a snow wall rise from nothing and completely envelop them, he was incredibly envious.

His own ability, controlling vines, was nowhere near as impressive as what Qin Shen could do.
