Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny

Chapter 344: An Extremely Powerful Broom

For several seconds, neither sister answered.

Miona was still staring at the spot where the assassin had disappeared, her fists clenched so tightly that her nails dug into her palms.

Serina finally spoke. "We... don’t completely know."

Helena frowned. "Start from the beginning."

Serina looked toward Darrick’s corpse before slowly explaining, "We always believed our parents died because they offended someone, possessed something valuable, or became involved in some kind of conflict."

Miona turned toward Helena, anger still visible in her eyes. "Apparently, we were completely fucking wrong."

Helena’s gaze sharpened.

Serina continued, "Darrick said our parents weren’t the real targets."

She paused. "We were."

Helena’s expression immediately changed.

Miona gave a bitter laugh. "Yeah. Apparently, the ’treasure’ those bastards were looking for was us."

Serina nodded. "The people who bought our parents’ information called us the Twin Keys."

Helena glanced between the sisters. "Twin Keys?"

"We have no idea what it means," Serina admitted. "Our parents never mentioned anything like that."

Miona immediately added, "Not once."

She kicked the broken table beside her in frustration. "So our parents fucking died because of some secret about us that we didn’t even know existed."

Helena remained quiet for several moments before looking toward the window where the assassin had escaped. "That man just now was strong."

Miona turned toward her.

Helena’s expression became serious. "High Golden Core Realm, at least. And his concealment technique was good enough that I only noticed him when he attacked."

Serina’s face tightened.

Helena sighed. "Damn."

She rubbed her forehead. "To think your revenge would turn into something like this."

Her gaze moved between them again. "Honestly, your background is way crazier than I expected."

Miona crossed her arms. "We can still keep going."

Helena shook her head. "No."

Miona frowned immediately. "What?"

Helena gave her a flat look. "We’re going back to Damian first."

Miona opened her mouth to argue, but Helena continued before she could. "Your original goal was finding the people responsible for your parents’ deaths. That was supposed to be something the three of us could handle."

She pointed toward Darrick’s corpse. "This isn’t that anymore."

Serina remained silent.

Helena continued, "There’s an unknown organization hunting both of you; they apparently destroyed an entire merchant association just to erase evidence, and they have High Golden Core assassins watching people connected to your past."

Her expression hardened. "That means we have no idea how powerful the people behind this actually are."

Miona gritted her teeth. "We promised Damian we’d only return once we finished our revenge."

Helena shook her head. "That promise was made when none of us knew your revenge was this fucking complicated."

She looked directly at both sisters. "Returning to ask for help doesn’t mean you failed."

Her voice softened slightly. "It means we found out this problem is bigger than expected, and Damian needs to know before we do something stupid."

Serina looked toward Miona, and from her expression alone, she could tell that Miona clearly hated the idea.

However, even she couldn’t deny Helena’s reasoning.

Finally, Serina sighed. "She’s right."

She turned back toward Miona and placed a hand on her shoulder. "We thought we only needed to kill this guy and it would be over, but this whole thing is getting more troublesome by the minute, so..."

Miona clicked her tongue and shrugged Serina’s hand off her shoulder. "Fuck... fine. Let’s go back."

Helena smiled as she turned toward the door. "Good. Then let’s go ask Master what he thinks before the next assassin is Nascent Soul."

Miona’s face immediately darkened. "Don’t fucking jinx us."

---

Back at the ruined battlefield, Damian stood with his hands on his hips as he looked over the newly finished base.

It honestly wasn’t anything impressive.

Several wooden buildings had been repaired from whatever remained of the two sects’ temporary camps; a simple wall surrounded the main area, and a large open courtyard sat in the center.

Still, Damian looked extremely satisfied. "Hehehe... not bad."

He proudly nodded to himself. "This shall be remembered as the glorious first temporary base of the [Forbidden Immortal Harem]."

Cassandra glanced toward the simple wooden buildings. "Glorious?"

Damian ignored her.

The five servant-slaves had done most of the basic construction and cleaning while everyone else handled more important work.

Cynthia sat beneath a temporary pavilion, carefully sorting through the resources they had taken from the battlefield.

Storage rings, pills, spirit stones, weapons, cultivation manuals, and miscellaneous treasures were neatly separated into different piles.

Linsey, meanwhile, floated above the ruined battlefield, using her powerful wind qi to clear the surrounding area.

Damian stared at her for a moment. "Damn. Having a wind cultivator really makes cleaning easy."

Linsey immediately looked offended. "Master! I’m not a fucking broom!"

Damian chuckled. "An extremely powerful broom."

Linsey growled, "Master!"

Nearby, Evelyn silently patrolled the surrounding forest, leaving thin traces of Frost Qi as markers while checking for scouts or anyone approaching the newly claimed territory.

Cassandra had somehow become the person actually keeping everything moving.

Whenever Damian started wandering around, inspecting random treasures, bothering Linsey, or discussing completely unnecessary decorations for the base, Cassandra simply grabbed him and dragged him back toward whatever decision actually needed to be made.

Eventually, Cynthia finished organizing another batch of supplies before looking toward the five servants. "You five."

They immediately approached. "Yes, Mistress Poison Dragon?"

Cynthia nodded toward the nearby towns and villages. "Go spread information."

The five women listened carefully.

Cynthia reminded them, "Tell people that an unknown faction has established itself on this battlefield."

She calmly continued, "Make sure they know this faction was responsible for ending the war between the Blue Mist Sect and the Nether Blood Moon Sect."

One servant hesitated. "Should we also mention the sect leaders?"

Cynthia nodded. "Tell them both sect leaders died fighting members of our group."

Damian’s eyes immediately brightened. "Oh, I like that."

Cynthia ignored him. "Don’t exaggerate too obviously. Let the people hearing the story exaggerate it themselves."

Cassandra grinned. "Smart."

Cynthia finally added, "And make sure everyone knows our faction’s name."

The five servants straightened. "The [Forbidden Immortal Harem]."

Damian proudly spread his arms. "Yes! Make sure you say the name clearly."

One servant bowed. "Understood, Master."

The others followed. "We’ll spread the rumors immediately."

Damian watched them leave before rubbing his hands together. "Hehehe..."

Cassandra glanced at him.

Damian’s grin widened. "Now we just wait for free advertising to do its job."
