However, being young himself, Novus couldn't help but feel like the friendship he shares with Medea is no normal one, how affected the two of them are when they are around each other that it is making them change bit by bit how they act making him feel confused.

That comforting calm and silence, the interesting, lively banter, the instinctive trust, things that he thinks he never felt before from the imperial princess who left him in his lonesome within the academy, made him feel like being hit with the Sword Princess suddenly leaving just like Alicia hit all the more.

While he decided on testing his strength out within the Evolution Domain, his mind is already showing him ideas of how much easier it will be for him now that he is standing on the same tier as his competitors, the Ebony Direwolves and the Goblins.
