Asher then began looking through the corpses around him, searching for one with a higher cultivation level.

He moved one corpse after another out of the way, carefully checking each one before moving on to the next. The storage section was much larger than he had initially expected, and there were countless corpses packed inside.

However, even after searching through the collection for several hours, Asher couldn’t find a suitable corpse.

The highest cultivation he could find was only a Peak Gold-rank cultivator.

Asher looked at the corpse for a moment before thinking, ’I need to decrease the number of vessels to increase the strength of each individual vessel, yet here I am making another one.’

However, he knew this was something he had to do. He didn’t waste any more time and immediately began restoring the corpse to its peak condition.

Once the corpse had been completely healed, Asher transformed it into one of his vessels.

After completing the process, Asher looked at the newly created vessel.

The newly created vessel looked back at Asher and then said, "So, what should we do now? We can’t exactly try to fight a Grandmaster with Silver- and Gold-rank vessels."

The other vessels looked toward him before one of them replied, "Of course we can’t. Even if you’re the only vessel left, it wouldn’t be enough. But for now, we just need to find some demon corpses."

The newly created vessel remained silent for a moment before looking around the corpse storage.

"Demon corpses? You think there are some here along with the human vessels?"

The other vessel replied, "Yeah, of course there are. We just have to find them before anyone else finds us."

The newly created vessel looked at the other vessels and then said, "Yeah, you’re right. As expected of me, I’m smart."

Both of them remained silent for a moment.

After a brief pause, one of the vessels finally said, "Let’s not waste any more time."

The other vessel nodded, and they immediately began searching the area around them.

They knew that the corpses couldn’t have simply appeared in this section. There had to be another room or passage connected to this storage area through which the bodies were brought in before being placed here.

Both vessels began examining the walls and the surrounding sections, carefully looking for anything that could reveal the location of the passage.

They moved through the rows of corpses, checking the corners and sealed sections while making sure not to disturb anything unnecessarily.

After searching for some time, they eventually began noticing small signs that suggested there was another area connected to this section.

Their attention immediately shifted toward it, and they started searching that area more carefully, hoping it would lead them toward the place where the other corpses were being brought in.

The passage was closed, but that had never been much of a problem for Asher, who could use the Spatial Element.

One of Asher’s vessels simply used his spatial ability to teleport toward the other side. However, the walls of the facility had been specially constructed to prevent anyone from sensing what was beyond them, making it impossible for him to directly determine what was on the other side.

Because of that, Asher had to first send his mana through the small gaps within the wall and establish a connection with the space beyond it.

Once the connection was successfully established, he used his spatial ability again and teleported through the wall to the other side.

Another vessel soon teleported through the wall and appeared beside him.

The two vessels looked around the new section, only to find that it was also filled with numerous corpses. However, after briefly examining them, they realized that most of the bodies were still low-rank cultivators, making them of little use to Asher.

Neither of them wasted any more time searching through the corpses.

They immediately turned their attention toward another passage at the far end of the room and began moving toward it, hoping that the next section would contain something more useful.

They continued moving through one section after another, searching each area as quickly as possible.

Eventually, they reached a larger section that was connected to several other rooms and passages. Realizing that this area could give them access to multiple parts of the facility, Asher decided to increase the number of vessels temporarily.

He selected several suitable corpses and turned them into his vessels before sending them toward the different passages.

After searching through almost fifty sections, one of the vessels finally found something different from the countless human corpses.

They were strange-looking fetuses that appeared to be a mixture of humans and demons. Most of them were in extremely poor condition, with severely deformed bodies and incomplete features.

From their appearance, it seemed that the human and demon bloodlines had failed to properly mix, resulting in severe abnormalities. Most of the fetuses had likely died before birth, while the few that had survived long enough to be born probably hadn’t lived for very long afterward.

Asher’s vessel moved toward the remains of one of the fetuses and examined it for a moment.

After carefully checking its condition, he sighed and said, "These aren’t suitable to become vessels. What a waste."

After saying that, Asher didn’t look back at the human-demon fetuses again. They were of no use to him, and there was no reason to waste any more time examining them.

Asher then moved to another section.

It was also filled with the remains of fetuses, although their bodies had slightly different shapes and features compared to those in the previous section. They were probably from another species of demons.

However, after briefly examining them, Asher realized that they were of no use to him either.

Then Asher kept moving to different sections.

But the next few sections were no different.

They were all filled with similar failed experiments, with the remains of human-demon hybrids and other abnormal specimens stored throughout the facility.

The other vessels were also encountering the same thing.

One section after another was filled with failed experiments and the remains of different demon-human hybrids. None of them were suitable for what Asher needed, and the search was beginning to feel increasingly pointless.

Then, finally, one of the vessels discovered something different.

Unlike the previous sections, this room contained actual demon corpses.

Asher quickly moved toward the corpses and began examining them one by one. After checking their cultivation, he found that most of them were around the Gold Rank.

Asher then decided to try something he had been particularly curious about.

He had never tried turning a Dream Demon into one of his vessels before, and now that he finally had access to their corpses, he couldn’t resist testing the possibility.

He selected one of the Dream Demon corpses and carefully restored it to its peak condition. Once the corpse had been completely healed, Asher began the process of transforming it into one of his vessels.

After the vessel had fully transformed, the Dream Demon opened its eyes.

He slowly stood up and immediately tried to use the Dream Demon’s abilities. He attempted to sense the surrounding nightmares and even tried to enter nearby dreams.

However, as expected, he failed.

He could clearly sense the abilities within the body, as if they were already part of him, but he couldn’t properly control or use them. Simply possessing the body didn’t grant him complete mastery over its abilities.

Asher wasn’t disappointed by this. He had already expected such a result.

The vessel could provide him with some of the Dream Demon’s physical characteristics and innate potential, but mastering its abilities would require years of practice. If he wanted to use those abilities effectively in battle, he would need to train them himself until he could fully understand and control them.

’Having the body doesn’t mean I have mastered its abilities. Only enough practice can allow an ability to reach the Master Rank... and eventually become a true Demon ability.’

Asher didn’t try to use the Dream Demon’s abilities anymore. There was no point in continuing when he knew he couldn’t master them in such a short amount of time.

The other human vessel looked at him and then asked, "So, do you feel like eating me or something that other demons feel?"

The demon vessel replied, "There are some instincts trying to influence me, but they’re nothing to worry about. They aren’t strong enough to overpower us."

The human vessel simply nodded before saying, "Okay. Then turn every suitable corpse here into a vessel and move toward the sections where the human corpses are. You can devour them, or perhaps their mana cores, and increase your cultivation quickly. I’ll move toward another section and look for more demon corpses."

The demon vessel nodded in agreement.

The human vessel then turned around and moved toward the next section, while the demon vessel remained behind and began working on the corpses in the room
