I Can Level Up Infinitely

Chapter 314: Tenth Spell

Leon stood frozen, still processing the notification. "A-all ten spells?" He stammered. "But I didn’t even master a single one..."

His mind was a mess until he remembered something. "Demon Monarch’s bloodline... Absolute comprehension... I almost forgot..." Leon’s lips curved into a smile. Instead of being shocked, he started checking the spells. He already knew how to cast each spell, which meridian to use to channel the Qi, and how much energy to focus. He started going through each spell in his mind.

The first fire spell was ’Fireball’. It was the same as iceballs. Just with fire energy. It was the most basic and most commonly used fire spell. But though very common, the destructive power behind each fireball could vary. Based on the wielder’s comprehension and mana pool, the same spell could turn out to be devastating in someone’s hand, while only a flicker of fire in someone else’s hand.

The second spell was ’Explosive fireball’. It was the advanced form of the first spell and more deadly. This explosive fireball would first penetrate the surface and then explode, causing at least ten times more damage than the first spell. And just like the first spell, its destructive power was also variable.

The more Leon went by each spell, the more his heart grew excited. He could even hear his own heartbeat.

Then he checked the third fire spell. It was called ’Hellish tornado’. With this spell, a tornado of flame would erupt from the wielder’s position. It was both defensive and offensive magic. The rotating flames could intercept and destroy incoming attacks depending on their strength.

The fourth one was called ’Blazing layer’. With this, a fiery layer would wrap around any part of the wielder’s body according to their wishes. It would boost the damage of any physical attack.

The fifth spell seemed the coolest one. ’Incinerate’. With this spell, the caster could summon tornadoes of flame from anywhere in the ground within a specific range.

The next one was more versatile. It was named ’Flame barrage’. With this, Leon would be able to give flames any shape he wanted. Like a sword, lance, spike, or maybe even giant spheres. He could throw these fiery attacks or make them cast from the sky or any other location. This single spell seemed like it was everything Leon wanted.

The seventh one was called ’Flame whip’. With this, he would be able to control fire like whips. Either to chain someone or attack them with unpredictable projectiles, the spell seemed dangerous.

The next spell had the second-highest destructive force. ’Sunfall’. With this, the caster could gather fire energy boundlessly and then throw it. A single attack seemed capable of destroying multiple cities.

The ninth one wasn’t an attack spell or defensive spell. Rather, it was a healing spell with fire affinity. The spell was named ’Sacred Crimson Flame’. It was the very same spell Emily had used inside the hidden realm to save Noah.

And then...

It was the turn for the final spell. Even just reading it in his own mind, Leon felt goosebumps spread across his skin.

’Phoenix breath’. According to the description of this spell in Leon’s mind, only a few could comprehend this spell. To many, this spell was just a myth. And Leon could clearly understand why. The spell was destructive and powerful, yes. But it was dangerous for the wielder, too. Without enough comprehension and control, not only would the caster fail to use the spell, but it would also kill him. The damage boost was just insane. It was 1000%+. That meant if Leon cast this spell with his current damage at 467, the damage of the spell would be more than five thousand. Just the thought made his heart pound faster like a war drum. Sweat trickled down his forehead. His hand was shaking in excitement. The spell’s Qi consumption was very high. A minimum of ten trillion Qi per single use. Yet, it was worth it. Because just one use was enough to kill any enemy Leon had personally faced until now.

Leon clenched his trembling fist. "This... Why didn’t I think of reading this spell book earlier?"

Leon stood there for a long time, unable to move. Then, finally, after ten minutes, he came out. Not because he was finally out of his daze. But because the jet had finally arrived at its destination.

"Is he coming out or not?" Snow asked, totally infuriated. ’Is he trying to avoid me?’ She wondered.

"Maybe big bro is sick or something?" Sol expressed his doubt. "Like loose motion?"

Emily didn’t say anything. Jason was also waiting. Just when everyone’s patience was about to run out, Leon emerged from the back of the jet. His clothes were soaked in sweat. He looked like he had just come out of a swimming pool.

"What happened to you, big bro? Are you alright?" Sol immediately reached out to Leon, noticing his still trembling legs.

"What the hell were you doing? You weren’t doing something inappropriate, thinking about me, were you?" Snow chuckled. She wasn’t worried even a bit about Leon. She had seen what he was capable of. What could happen to him just after going to the washroom?

Any other time, Leon would have snapped at her. But now, he didn’t. With Sol’s help, Leon stood up straight. "Sorry, I became a little too excited that I couldn’t even move." He totally disregarded the fact of how his words sounded. Excitement in the washroom? Clothes soaked? What else could have happened if not what everyone was thinking at the moment?

"Huh, so you admit you were doing something inappropriate," Snow added quickly.

Leon didn’t reply. He looked at Jason. "Can we go to the Hunter Association right now?" He asked. He looked desperate to enter a dungeon.

Earlier, it was his necessity. He had to grow stronger to save his sister and Noira. But now...

Something else was whispering in his heart.

He wanted to see. He wanted to try the tenth spell firsthand.
