Chapter 351 - 350: The Reckoning
Location:Seven Peaks — Gate Terrace, Valley Floor / The Hidden Sanctum
Date/Time:TC1854.02.01
Sylvara felt them first.
Elian was eating breakfast in the residential wing — porridge with honey, Aren across from him arguing with a spoon that had frozen to his fingers — when the tree’s awareness surged through their bond like a hand gripping his shoulder. Not pain. Warning. Something approaching from outside the world’s normal fabric. Something displacing the space between two points and stepping through the fold.
"Mama," Elian said. His golden eyes had gone wide. "They’re coming."
Three floors above, Raven was already moving. Veyr’s pommel had shifted from silver to deep violet — not calm, not grief. Resolve.

The Phase Ark materialized on the valley floor two hundred meters below Seven Peaks’ main gate at seven minutes past dawn.
It tore into existence with a sound like reality being peeled apart — a deep, structural groan that resonated through the mountain’s foundations and made Sylvara’s roots contract in instinctive revulsion. Indigo light flared across the valley, so bright that disciples on the morning patrol shielded their eyes. The air smelled of ozone and something older. Something that didn’t belong to the natural order of a world that had spent eight hundred years learning to breathe normally again.
The vessel was the size of a large house. Formation-reinforced stone and dimensional alloy, its hull inscribed with phase-shift arrays that pulsed indigo like a heartbeat. It sat on the valley floor with the particular wrongness of an object that existed slightly out of alignment with its surroundings — shadows falling at angles that didn’t match the dawn light, grass beneath it not crushed but displaced, as if the Ark and the ground occupied the same space without quite touching.
A ramp extended. Thirty enforcers descended in formation — three columns of ten, cultivation pressure radiating from each one at Peak Core Crystallization minimum. They wore the Sanctum’s colors: midnight blue over silver, formation-disruption arrays embedded in their armor, faces hidden behind helms that masked spiritual signatures.
Then the five.
