"As Miasma density has greatly changed in the royal capital since the last time I came here, most of my previous preparations would be rendered either less effective or completely useless..."

Although Zephyr had saved Xinran by lending her the power of the obelisk, that was just a temporary solution.
When fighting the ’Vessel of Corrosion’ or any other powerful creature from the miasmic army, they would not have the luxury of holding hands and fighting together like that.
The two of them had never fought together as a team before; they had no team synergy and no mutual coordination.
Although both of them had seen each other’s skills and techniques, they both knew that none of them had shown their final trump cards to each other at all.
"Can you repair that bracelet artifact of yours?"
Hearing Zephyr’s question, Xinran sighed and shook her head as she sat down on a random boulder and tossed a carrot towards Zephyr.
"I can’t. I have already analysed it; the main reason that artifact broke down is because of the increased load that miasmic corruption placed on it."
"As we both know, the density of miasma in the capital has increased tremendously due to the birth of a new demonic vessel."
"Even if I repair the bracelet, it would still break down again in just a few seconds, as its core is unable to keep up with such a powerful load..."
"Moreover, I have used that artifact inside the city many times, so miasma must have adapted to its core circuit and must have deliberately put more load on it to break it..."
Xinran herself was a very powerful artifact refiner, and her knowledge of artifacts was powerful enough to put even the most accomplished artifact refiners to shame.
But even then, miasma was still a major challenge for her, as most artifacts in the world simply could not keep up with such dense miasmic corruption density.
"If possible, I would have really liked to have an artifact similar to your ’Obelisk,’ but creating something of that level is simply impossible for me."
Hearing those words, Zephyr could only sigh in helplessness.
[Rolling_Crocodile: Man, miasma is simply too overpowered. Even though we are separated by different dimensions, and are only just watching streams, I still feel chills just by remembering that flood of miasma...]
[Jumping_Koala: I thought it was only me who felt that... Destroying people’s dreams, minds and paths and turning them into broken puppets to do its bidding... Corruption is a horrific existence...]

Although Zephyr was just randomly glancing at the comment section, his eyes suddenly widened in surprise when he noticed the comment that mentioned making a ’container.’
’This! This might be possible!! Good job, ’Invincible_Bob’! I knew you were the most reliable fellow in this crooked chat section!’
Zephyr’s eyes lit up as the idea of making a container took over his thoughts instantly, and he immediately asked Xinran about it.
"Making an artifact that can contain the power of the Obelisk and can use that power later when needed... this is... this is quite a daring idea..."
"The power of the ’Obelisk’ seems similar to purification magic of the light magic branch but it’s more potent and complicated than that..."
"But if I use ’that’ artifact as base... and use stabilizing artifacts... I might really be able to make a container!"
Xinran immediately jabbed Zephyr in the side as a smile appeared on her beautiful face.
"I must say, you are very smart. I like people with smart brains, hehe~"

Zephyr’s heart almost skipped a beat after hearing those words, and he hurriedly looked away to hide his own expression.
’Tch... it’s that smile again...’
While Zephyr was busy calming down his own restless heart, Xinran’s eyes brightened as she thought about the idea of making a container, and she immediately brought out a workbench from her space ring.
Sitting on a chair, Xinran brought out the magic pen, ink, and other rune-crafting material from her space ring one after another.
’If I use the ’Ring of Sacred Promises’ as the base and uses gems of spatial lock from the ’Serpent Seal’... this might actually work!’
The obelisk itself was a powerful artifact that was simply too out of Xinran’s reach.
Even with her powerful abilities, she could not create or replicate it, but making a container to store the powers of the ’Obelisk’ was not entirely unfeasible.
As long as powerful base material was used, it was possible to create something strong enough that could contain that power for a short amount of time.
’Moreover, I can make this artifact a rechargeable type. Once the power continued inside runs out, I can just ask Zephyr to channel some power into it and get it recharged once again!’
The more Xinran thought about it, the more excited she became, so she hurriedly set up her table in an empty corner of the temple with good lighting and started to work on the artifact instantly!
A look of extreme focus appeared on her cute face, causing her already powerful charm to become even stronger!
