Chapter 1924 - 1922: The Coordination Meeting is Convened Again
"Your Highness, the Sect’s Wisdom has sent an invitation, asking you to attend the Coordination Meeting." Philips Williams stood there respectfully. He had not expected that Peter Brown would now receive such attention from the Sect—it was an invitation from the Sect’s Wisdom, after all.
"Oh."
Peter took the letter-like item and read for a while. It contained an invitation for him to attend the Sect Coordination Meeting at the same location he had visited last time, and they agreed to let Peter bring his Guard Team with him.
This clearly showed respect, but Peter understood in his heart that the Sect still intended to probe his strengths.
"Prepare for the journey; I will go by the teleportation formation alone, no need to bring too many people, just a few serving ones will suffice."
Peter didn’t need to think too much about bringing people; the subordinates under him would be of no use if he brought them along, and it would be better to go empty-handed. Now that he had acquired some magic treasures, Peter was not afraid of what the Sect people might do to him.
"Your Highness, what about safety?"
Philips Williams asked with some concern.
"Would the people I bring be of any use?" Peter countered.
Hearing Peter’s retort, Philips Williams could only give a wry smile, realizing the truth in the situation. Even if Peter brought many people, they wouldn’t be enough against the Sect’s might; bringing them would be pointless.
"Then I shall arrive ahead and take care of various matters, and Your Highness can follow afterwards."
