After discussing with Crystal Harris, it was natural for her to take care of the matter. Peter Brown was also pleased, as this meant he could quickly obtain his certificate.
He wasn’t worried about the authenticity of the certificate; after all, Provincial Government University was a trustworthy institution.
Peter understood that he was taking advantage of an opportunity. The pilot test must have various benefits—the school also wanted to produce good results. There would be no harm to the school; if he passed, it would reflect genuine achievement, beyond reproach and it could even be used to promote the school. Even if he didn’t pass, the school could consider the effort a trial and include it in their summary, adding one more experience to their endeavors.
Indeed, that very evening, Peter received a call from Crystal. The school had confirmed the details of the examination—the first two days would cover the six courses in a unified manner, and the remaining subjects he needed to take would be scheduled for the last two days. The invigilation would still be open and transparent.
Having understood this, the very next day, Peter went to register and pay the fees, and then he received the examination schedule.
"Peter," I said, "how confident are you? Don’t mess this up. The school leaders are paying attention to this matter, and if you don’t pass at least two courses, I’ll lose face."
Crystal Harris, a young teacher, was anxious to produce good results and felt nervous about the whole situation.
With a slight smile, Peter said, "Don’t worry, I’ve completed all the courses and understood them. There will definitely be no problems."
"Aries, you’ve been a bit rash in handling things!"
Other teachers in the office glanced at Peter, fully aware that Crystal had arranged for this young man to have a special examination session. They shook their heads at her eagerness to get results and sighed at the unreliability of young people’s approaches these days.
Crystal, feeling impulsive for having helped Peter out without a solid base, looked at him helplessly and could only say, "Do your best."
