Two days had passed, and there was some progress in the other projects, but everyone saw that the project Peter Brown was in charge of had not achieved much.

Two days later, Henry Carter held a status update meeting.

At the meeting, Henry Carter went over the project he was responsible for, a 30-million real estate project. It wasn’t too big, but with his operation, some connections were made clear and results were believed to be forthcoming soon.

After reporting on his own project, Henry Carter’s face showed a smug satisfaction, proving to everyone that he too was capable.

Then Henry Carter turned to Peter Brown and said, "Peter Brown, how is your project going? I heard it has expanded to 100 million."

Feeling everyone’s eyes on him, Peter replied, "Yes, the project has been redesigned and planned as a large-scale expansion of a reservoir, with an investment of 100 million."

Matthew Clarkson seemed very concerned as he said, "This is a big project. If we can secure it, our branch office’s task will be considered complete. Peter Brown, what are the chances? What kind of support do you need from the branch office?"

"Let me update you all on the current situation."

Peter Brown then began to inform everyone about the whole situation.

After listening, everyone’s expressions became complicated. Matthew Clarkson sighed, "It seems like we don’t stand a chance at all. Both Madison O’Donnell and Huxley Taylor have quite the background."

Henry Carter said, "The Group’s headquarters also called to inquire about this project. We have to try our best to compete for it no matter what. Peter Brown, this is no trivial matter. You better put in some extra effort."
