Ivy Cooper was probably the most excited; she seemed to sense the breath of spring. Ever since Rylan Williams had put her in charge of the Integrated Office, she had been strutting around like a leader, bustling about the entire day, though no one really knew what she was so busy with.

Of course, everyone also noticed that Rylan Williams didn’t take much of an interest in Peter Brown, and, naturally, the number of people chatting and shooting the breeze with Peter also dwindled significantly.

Sitting in the office, Peter, too, was pondering over this matter. Rylan Williams was indeed a young master; the guy did things in an unconventional manner. Since it was like that, there was no need for Peter to play by the rules either—he might as well take care of him sooner rather than later.

Suddenly, Peter discovered that Ivy Cooper and Rylan Williams were chatting on QQ.

First, Ivy sent a message, followed by a response from Rylan. The content of their exchange left Peter somewhat puzzled.

Ivy clearly expressed her gratitude for Rylan’s promotion, sending, "Rylan, I can’t possibly repay your great kindness; what should I do?"

Rylan replied, "What do you think?"

"Rylan, I have nothing to offer in return except ’Thousand Miles to Jiangling’."

"Beauty, how could ’Thousand Miles to Jiangling’ suffice? It has to be at least ’Ten Thousand Miles to Jiangling’ to do!"

"You’re so bad, alright, let’s go for ’Ten Thousand Miles to Jiangling’ tonight."

After sending these messages, the two of them ended their conversation.
