It seems nothing can stay hidden in the company, as the next morning when everyone came to work, the news about Mr. Taylor’s reassignment and Tobia Armstrong taking over as chairman spread like wildfire.
It was a rare occasion today at the office; all the leaders were present without a single absence, each quietly sitting in their own offices.
Peter Brown knew that since the news had leaked yesterday, it was possible that the headquarters in the province might call a meeting today or perhaps gather the leaders for a meeting by the afternoon.
Sure enough, around 9 o’clock, the Group’s company made a call, instructing all the leading members to go to the province for a meeting.
The leaders’ cars were roaring non-stop then, one by one, they departed.
At this time, the Integrated Office also quieted down, everyone deep in their own thoughts.
When Peter stole a glance at Ivy Cooper, he noticed that today she was dressed in a pure and simple outfit, sitting there with an air of elegance that made her seem very educated.
Then looking at Reid Nelson, she too was staring at her computer, though what content it held, he couldn’t tell.
With both beauties lost in their thoughts, Peter decided to pull up the small program he had created once again.
This version was far more advanced than the original, able to stealthily install itself on someone else’s cell phone during a call or text message and remain undetectable, even if the other party discovered it and tried to trace it back, they would be utterly unable to find him.
