After hanging up the phone, Peter Brown started to prepare. He quickly made a batch of sonic devices, then he called Dave Hill over.

"You take some people and set up the sonic devices on the island reefs closest to us."

Dave Hill knew about the power of these devices and hesitated a bit, saying, "Town Chief, there are two problems with this thing."

Peter Brown smiled and said, "What problems?"

"The first is that I’m worried about theft. If there’s no one guarding them, it’s very likely they will be stolen."

Peter Brown was pleased that he could think of this problem. He smiled and said, "Good, it’s commendable that you thought of this. However, how could my sonic device be easily stolen? Firstly, as long as it’s activated, there’s intelligent surveillance from here. Even if someone steals it, the sonic device will self-destruct, and after an explosion, no one can see what’s inside. Moreover, unless someone from our faction contacts this device, it will send out an alarm, and I can control it to launch some attacks here. So, it’s useless for someone to steal it."

Dave Hill let out a sigh of relief and said, "That’s good. If it’s really like this, our power will be stronger. We can set it up underwater, and activate it when we want to attack."

Peter Brown actually hadn’t thought about installing them underwater. Now, hearing this, he laughed and said, "Not bad at all, your idea is good. We’ll set it up both openly and secretly. Some will be installed underwater. As long as we surround our island with it, we will be safe."

"What is the other problem?" Peter Brown asked.

Dave Hill continued, "The other problem is that as soon as the sonic wave starts, it will attack. It will affect both our people and the enemy. How can we deal with this?"

Peter Brown smiled and said, "Sonic attacks target the ears. I’ll give our people an injection, and anyone I inject won’t be affected by the attack anymore. They can also use special ear protection I’ve made."
