Peter Brown had just returned the robots to the warehouse when he saw that Harlan Swift had been waiting for him.
"Dude, awesome job!"
Seeing the young man waiting there, Peter knew that he was aware of today’s events and said with a smile, "You know too?"
"Hehe, I won’t lie to you, I guessed it during dinner, so I reminded you a bit. I didn’t expect you to really make it through this challenge. From now on, you’re officially a full-time employee, congratulations!"
"I should be thanking you. If you hadn’t reminded me in time, I wouldn’t have even known about these things."
"Don’t thank me, we all come out of the Cultivator; I only gave you a heads-up. Whether you could make it past that challenge was something I didn’t know, but it turns out you have such a strong learning ability. Do you still retain some Divine Sense?"
"I feel like I retained a bit."
Peter tentatively replied.
"I knew it must be something like that; you don’t know, some people who come out of the Cultivator retain a bit of Divine Sense. Such people might be able to practice magic. It’s truly great that you have such an ability; at least you’ll go further than the rest of us."
So there really were people who retained some Divine Sense!
Peter had been worried someone might discover his abnormal learning ability was due to possessing Divine Sense and decide to study him. Now that he heard there were others like him, he felt much more at ease.
