Age of Wizards: I Can Analyze All Things

Chapter 460 - 230: Renegade Wizard (Part 2)

"Junior," Yin Xue greeted, a bright smile on her face.

Pei Ze looked Yin Xue up and down a few times, a smile appearing on his face.

"Congratulations, Senior."

Yin Xue brushed a strand of hair from her face and smiled brightly. "I’m still a long way from catching up to you."

"That’s different." Pei Ze shook his head with a smile.

When he had last seen Yin Xue in the Dark Territory, she was still at the Level 2 Crystallization-stage.

But seeing her today, Pei Ze realized Yin Xue had already become a Level 3 Wizard.

In the six-plus months since his return, the young woman had successfully taken the crucial step to break through.

Ascending to a Level 3 Wizard before the age of thirty made one an undeniable genius across the entire Star Realm Alliance.

Pei Ze glanced at the crowd in the distance. "Senior, where are all of you heading?"

"We’re preparing to head to Bator Hell."

Pei Ze was taken aback. "What are you going there for?"

"We’re on a mission to capture a renegade Wizard."

At the mention of this, Yin Xue’s expression grew a little more solemn.

"What happened? Can you talk about it?" Pei Ze’s interest was suddenly piqued.

Yin Xue didn’t hide anything. The matter was no longer a secret in Chenxi City.

"The renegade is the former Dawn Council Councillor, Pan Mo, along with his kinsmen and disciples."

Pei Ze’s expression instantly turned grim.

He knew of Pan Mo. The man was a Sixth-level Wizard.

He was also known as one of the few in Chenxi City with the greatest hope of breaking through to become a Rule Wizard.

At a time when Rule Wizards were immersed in their cultivation and research, rarely intervening in worldly affairs, Pan Mo could be considered one of the highest-ranking Councillors in Chenxi City.

The reason he knew about the man was because Pei Ze had previously investigated the Pei Family in detail.

And Pan Mo had been the Pei Family’s original backer—and a very deeply connected one at that.

’It seems Pan Mo was purged.’

"Actually, Pan Mo had already defected with his people before I returned from the Turin Plane. The Council issued a warrant for his arrest back then and dispatched Wizards into Hell to pursue him. But something happened later that caused the pursuit team to suffer heavy losses. So the Council issued an urgent order to dispatch reinforcements from the Silver Light Legion."

Pei Ze raised an eyebrow, glancing doubtfully at the distant team.

’The renegades include a Sixth-level Wizard, and they’re only sending this handful of people as reinforcements?’

As if sensing Pei Ze’s doubt, Yin Xue explained in a low voice, "We’re only part of the reinforcements. Other teams are on their way, and I heard they’ve even mobilized a Wizard Tower."

Only then did Pei Ze feel relieved.

Because she was on a mission, Yin Xue couldn’t stay long. After exchanging a few more words, she bid Pei Ze farewell and left.

’Bator Hell, huh.’

As he watched Yin Xue and the others fly away, a strange glint flashed through Pei Ze’s eyes before vanishing.

He had always been quite curious about the two infamous Outer Planes of the Multiverse: Hell and the Abyss.

He had previously considered participating in the Blood War to increase his strength, but he set that idea aside after discovering the method involving Thunder Elemental Energy density differentials.

’Still, the Blood War is a good way to quickly increase one’s strength, as long as the problem of one’s Spirit being affected can be solved.’

Shaking his head, Pei Ze reined in his thoughts and returned to his Wizard Tower.

As soon as he returned to the Wizard Tower, the voice of Tower Spirit No. 1 rang out.

"Master, a guest has arrived. They have been shown to the third-floor reception hall."

Pei Ze understood and teleported to the reception hall.

The only guests who could enter his Wizard Tower in his absence were Yin Xue and Gu Lin.

He had specifically granted them permission the last time they were in the Dark Territory.

And since he had just seen Yin Xue, the visitor could only be Gu Lin.

Sure enough, when Pei Ze arrived at the reception hall, he saw Gu Lin sitting on the sofa, leisurely sipping black tea.

When she saw him appear, she grinned and raised her teacup to him in a small gesture.

"To what do I owe the pleasure, Miss Gu?"

Pei Ze sat down across from Gu Lin, and a Water Sprite attendant quickly brought him a cup of black tea.

"I came to say goodbye." Gu Lin set down her teacup and spread her hands. "Annie’s experiment is over. She plans to set off for other planes in a couple of days."

After obtaining a portion of the divine abomination’s corpse, Annie had disappeared, finding a place to conduct her experiments in secret.

Gu Lin, meanwhile, had stayed in Chenxi City to continue her training and take a break.

Now that Annie had finished her experiment, the two of them were naturally about to start a new journey.

"Where do you plan on going this time?" Pei Ze asked casually.

"Bator Hell."

Pei Ze paused, stunned.

’Bator Hell again?’

"What are you going there for?" Pei Ze asked, finding it odd.

Gu Lin shrugged and said, "It seems Annie made some sort of research breakthrough with her experiment, but she’s still missing something. So she’s planning to go to the Hell Plane to look for it."

"I see."

Realization dawned on Pei Ze. He paused for a moment, then took out a dimensional bag and tossed it to Gu Lin.

"For you."

"What’s this?"

Gu Lin caught it instinctively. When she opened it and looked inside, her eyes widened.

"A Thunder God Golem!"

During this time in Chenxi City, word of Pei Ze’s Thunder God Golems had spread like wildfire.

Nearly half the Wizards in Chenxi City knew that Pei Ze had created a powerful new type of golem, leading many Elemental Mages to scramble to purchase them.

Gu Lin, too, had heard quite a bit about them.

She knew that a single Thunder God Golem sold for as much as thirty thousand Magic Crystal Stones.

For a Second-level Liquidation Wizard like her, thirty thousand Magic Crystal Stones was undoubtedly a massive fortune!

"This is for me?" Gu Lin’s eyes lit up.

Pei Ze smiled. "Hell isn’t exactly safe. You can have this Thunder God Golem for protection."

Although Gu Lin hardly needed to worry about her safety with a Rule Wizard like Annie around...

...it was better to be safe than sorry. With the Thunder God Golem, unless she encountered a fourth-level Great Demon, it would be more than enough to ensure her safety.

A soft look flashed through Gu Lin’s eyes. She huffed softly a couple of times but didn’t stand on ceremony, putting it away.

"Thanks."

The young woman stood up, placed her hands on her hips, and said:

"When I become a Rule Wizard in the future, I’ll be the one looking out for you."

Seeing her slightly flushed cheeks, Pei Ze didn’t call her out on it, just chuckled and nodded.

"Then I’ll look forward to it."

...

After Gu Lin left, Pei Ze went to the Dragon Hall.

In the wide, dim basin, Mo Ying was lying on the ground, dozing.

Beside it, countless Gold Coins and Gemstones were piled up into a small mountain.

The vast majority of the Dragon Race had a habit of collecting shiny treasures, and Shadow Giant Dragons were no exception.

After more than a year of growth, Mo Ying’s body had developed to the size of an adolescent dragon.

It now possessed power equivalent to a Level 3 Liquidation Wizard.

Pei Ze estimated that in another year or two, Mo Ying should be able to grow to the level of a young adult dragon.

A young adult Shadow Giant Dragon possessed fourth-level power.

To be honest, for the current Pei Ze, Mo Ying could hardly be considered a combat asset.

A single Thunder God Golem could easily crush Mo Ying.

What Pei Ze truly valued was Mo Ying’s growth potential.

One had to know that an adult Shadow Giant Dragon possessed the immense combat power to fight a Sixth-level Wizard head-on.

And a Shadow Giant Dragon could reach this level in just two hundred years, even if all it did was eat and drink.

This was the innate talent and potential of the Shadow Giant Dragon lineage—even more monstrous than the Chosen.

If it could survive for a thousand years and reach the stage of an Ancient Dragon, it could even go toe-to-toe with a Rule Wizard.

And with the abundant resources Pei Ze provided for its nourishment, this process could be greatly shortened.

Pei Ze estimated that Mo Ying could reach its adult stage in twenty to thirty years at most.

By then, he would have another sixth-level combatant under his command.

As if sensing someone’s presence, Mo Ying suddenly opened its eyes, its huge pupils falling directly on Pei Ze.

After recognizing the visitor, its icy gaze softened, and it let out a low rumble.

"It’s nothing, I just came to see you."

Pei Ze smiled slightly and waved his hand.

"You can go back to sleep."

Dragons in their rapid growth phase need a lot of sleep to adapt to their rapidly increasing power.

This was also why the dragons in many novels spent most of their time sleeping.

Leaving the Dragon Hall, Pei Ze stretched lazily, loosening his body.

’Time to go back and train.’

’I’ll aim to achieve complete elementalization within half a year.’
